Let’s see a police chief willing to enforce the law. One who is not afraid to address criminals. Whatever happened to a beat cop on every corner in the Tenderloin until it was cleaned up?

Mm nothing for water security for fire protection or potable water post an earthquake? But, hooray, we got the Twin Peaks promenade;) Ps. Dan you do know that San Franciscans pay at peak $.50/kWh and at the winter off peak it's still $0.38/kWh. EV isn't tenable for working class families. Time at an EV station waiting for a charge and battery half life technology isn't there.

Our Federal taxes again being used on illegal aliens. As soon as an illegal is dropped in California they are a "homeless resident". When they do the homeless count, they do not ask if the person is a US Citizen or a foreign national who thought it's great to camp on the streets of San Francisco and get everything for free as a "resident".

Today we introduced a Fentanyl State of Emergency Ordinance to the Board of Supervisors to address the crisis on our streets. Inaction is no longer an option, and bureaucracy can no longer be the excuse. This ordinance will allow us to surge resources, overcome bureaucratic obstacles, and save lives. I want to thank the supervisors who have co-sponsored the legislation, and I look forward to working with all of the supervisors for their quick approval.

Today, the Board of Supervisors voted 10-1 in support of our Fentanyl State of Emergency Ordinance, marking a new era of cooperation in City Hall. As a candidate for mayor, I promised San Franciscans that I would work in partnership with the Board of Supervisors to take action on the critical issues facing our city. As mayor, I am proud to be delivering on that promise today. After today’s vote, the ordinance will return to the full Board of Supervisors next Tuesday for a second and final reading.

Around €400 million will be allocated for the procurement and transfer of the Tridon Mk2 air defense system. Another €524 million will support Ukrainian production of long-range missiles and drones. The remaining more than €280 million will fund grenade launchers from Swedish army stockpiles, as well as the purchase of artillery shells, spare parts, and training for Ukrainian personnel.

This is truly a historic day for cooperation between Ukraine and Sweden. Today, there is a new support package from Sweden, and this support opens up a new level for us in saving the lives of our people – in protecting our cities and communities. This package, worth $2.7 billion, includes various elements to make us stronger. In particular, it includes funding for drone production – almost $400 million. But most importantly – the Gripens. Swedish fighter jets that will definitely strengthen our air fleet and our air defense. More than $2 billion in support from this package is specifically for the aircraft. We expect to receive the first capabilities – the first Gripens – within the next ten months. For our part, we will do everything possible to make it happen. Importantly, these aircraft will come with the weapons package, which will also help protect us against Russian guided aerial bombs. We are talking a squadron of Gripens for Ukraine, and it is extremely significant support for us.
