in 2007, I was developer at Microsoft for Flight Simulator team to have Virtual Earth embedded experience for the game using JavaScript 😂😂😂 man it was so hard to rotate the flight image in the direction smoothly over every angle

Really cool, right? Almost zero effort to "create" a game. Now, of course, anyone is able to create this kind of content. Is that the impressive part? It also brings the dichotomy: it immediately loses value, this is not even impressive anymore, and it's already outdated.

Ok it's done, you can play it at ✈️ I've never ever made a game before and just made my own flight simulator 100% with Cursor in I'd say 3 hours by just telling it what I wanted It didn't go 100% smooth ofc, but 80% yes, a few times I had to go back to previous versions and keep asking the same thing a few times to fix a problem But I love this AI vibe coding VERY FUN!!! 😁 (and yes the whole flight sim is one HTML file)

I made a working 🎁 Claw Machine for 🥨 Richard's birthday today full of 🥨 3d pretzels: It took about 2 hours prompting in Cursor and it was a good opportunity to practice basic physics in JS with Cannon JS for physics About 80% was Cursor and 20% was me hand coding things like the claw Today I am rewriting the flight model for my plane game and I want to add real physics so what I learnt here I can apply then

🖨️ It took over a year and lots of help from Claude Code but I have now been able to create a real dot matrix printer on the web that prints from Windows 3.11 in your browser: Here's the test page: I couldn't get the LPT1 port to work but COM2 did work (the dial up model already uses COM1), the JS receives the COM2 serial data (just raw print data) and then prints it Next is to make the dot matrix printer better looking (kinda 3d like on pieter dot com) and have the paper also flowing in 3d out of the printer and integrate it on the page My idea was that it might work because we also capture the COM1 data (from the dial up modem) and send it to a Websocket as a dial up connection, so we should be able to capture the COM2 traffic too but I didn't know how, but now I do IT WORKS!! 😊

Last year I spent a week trying to make a browser game with Claude 3.7 and got nowhere. This week I downloaded a sprite pack and told Fable to make "a fun and engaging browser game" with it. It built the below in a single prompt. I miss Fable already 😭

Now that i have a full green screen room i thought it was a cool idea to align myself with my avatar in #VRChat and yeah, every move i made in game was shown to players too. (i use the Orion Trackers from SomaticVR) So they see the avatar i use, and the camera see me IRL

I swear this is not product placement but I wanted to show everyone how tedious it is for me right now to set up objects in the game, I didn't build anything for it yet, so it's literally Cursor one-shotting the idea: "can u make a floating house in the sky. it should have a red roof. white walls. and maybe a door and windows. like this emoji: 🏡 the front of the house should have a little label with "Invest in rental properties on lofty ai" start every variable with floatingHouse" Then I have to position it properly in the world with x,y,z, coords in the console while people shooting at me 😂 Luckily gravity doesn't work properly yet so I can kinda float for awhile and position it I really have to ask AI to build a world editor soon!

Having read through the accident report for the 1946 B-17 crash in Marin I've finally got a reconstruction of the flight path that lines up with communications. I wrote a tool to generate this flight path in X-Plane Flight Simulator, and here's what it looks like. Obviously only a rough simulation, I couldn't find a B-17 so I had to use an X-38, it's daylight, the scenery is 21st century and I can't figure out how to put the clouds where I need them, but it'll be useful for the video.

slowly decreasing that people-pleasing habits in him, new taught him so well ♡ 🫍 I have work here, so I'm flying here. My work tomorrow starts at 6-7 in the morning, so I intentionally take flight tonight. At first, I thought I should just sleep already, but I haven't eaten anything after the concert so I thought I'd just get Suki Chang Phueak first. But when I arrived, a senior in Chiangmai called, he said "You can have a meal in my restaurant." so I went 😀 I was planning to stay longer but my skill has improved now so I can ask to leave early. I immediately back after finishing my meal.

🐥: I was full of arrogance in the beginning, but after i made my debut i felt so small. So from then i lost a lot of my mental strength. As soon as i made my debut I thought I was... I thought I was the best and I thought I was in first place [...]. My self worth was so high, but after that, was destroyed in one instant. in my head, it took me a long time to build this up, but i think the process of building myself up, unlike bulding a sand castle, you build it up little by little. so i feel like internally, i have became more resilient, compared to before.

My favorite way of interacting with Claude Code is to have it generate static HTML files as outputs (reports, explorations, code structure, mockups etc.) I wanted to iterate on the file by commenting in browser and having Claude update the output live. So, I built this Claude Skill👇 How it works: - Install Claude Code skill (ask it to clone repo) - Build an HTML page for anything (e.g. research coding agents and generate HTML report) - Ask it to make the page interactive That's it. CC will launch a localhost server and allow you to then leave comments on the page itself and once it updates, will give you a tour of changes. It's like Google Docs kind of comments/iteration but for HTML pages.
