My throat was grabbed and I was choked by a police officer today. As a member of IFJ, I was deliberately obstructed and prevented from performing my journalistic duties. Despite showing and presenting my international press card, I was assaulted by the officer seen in the footage, leaving me unable to breathe.

#Telangana: While I served as the BJP state president, a few intelligence officials told me that my phone was being tapped. Suspicion grew when a vehicle and a few unidentified men were made to halt at my residence at Karimnagar. Specifically during the 10th class paper leak, cops were after my phone which subsequently went missing. I was forced to use my PA’s phone as not just mine but my family was also under watch. Even the then DGP and former Intel chief were keeping track of my whereabouts as my phone was tapped. UM for state Bandi Sanjay Kumar told SIT.

Here is Canada, not Gaza, and ugly Hamas sympathizers are not in a position to dictate to me where I can go or not. Today I participated in the book launch event near Bathurst and Sheppard in Toronto. After the event, when I wanted to take a bus to go back home, several ugly Hamas sympathizers started harassing and assaulting me. I was peaceful and on a public pedestrian walkway. They followed me, harassed me, pushed me, assaulted me and blocked my way. Several times I asked them to open my way. They tried to intimidate me but miserably they failed. I stood on my ground and in the end they were forced to open my way. Ugly coward losers!

I was assaulted while working on my daily news vlog in front of the Melbourne City Council, with multiple members of the Victoria Police force present. I had attended the public area in front of the council building as the MCC was debating a motion on a ceasefire in the Israel-Gaza conflict, aiming to cover a local news story as an independent journalist and a resident of the city of Melbourne. While working, a group of pro-Palestinian individuals openly harassed and intimidated me, as they did not approve of someone I know in the Victorian Jewish community. Victoria Police told me to move to another side of the road, as the Pro Palestine group did not approve of my relationship with this Jewish individual. At that point, I contested the ridiculous move-on order for a journalist in Australia; however, I did move across to the other side of the road as it became apparent that the police were more comfortable blaming me than controlling the unruly mob. As I crossed over to the side of the road the police directed me to, I was followed by a group of Pro Palestinian protesters, after which one of them openly assaulted me in front of the police. I have attempted multiple times throughout today to provide a statement to the Victoria Police; however, I have yet to be contacted, even though they witnessed the assault on the night it occurred and noted it as an unlawful assault in an incident report. I've tried my best to compile the circumstances of my assault and the failure of the Victoria Police to act. On the night of the incident, they were refusing my requests to identify the masked attacker who was present, citing fear of the mob.

The girls around me whispered rape threats in my ears just because I am a Brahmin; "aaj tu chal, tera nanga parade niklega," is what they said. The men around me were saying that they would teach me a lesson. The girls had held me by arms and neck. This is attempt to murder. I had fallen unconscious but the Police did nothing...A boy there was signalling to others to take me away. Did they want to kidnap me?...My clothes were being torn...I was being improperly touched. They were UGC goons, they cannot be students...I was attacked due to my caste. Nobody supported me, only a few Law Faculties showed humanity and I came out with their help as well as with that of a few women Police personnel...FIR has been registered, I trust the law...The incident occurred for about half and hour...There was mob lynching there, I escaped somehow is a big deal for me..."
