today is 36 years since depeche mode released enjoy the silence so I have to bring back the superior version of it

People were not aware at the time of how much work Alan Wilder put behind the scenes to sequence all the SOFAD tour songs. This was the last great DM album & era, and the band has never been quite the same without him.

ngl i do really love the mike shinoda remix of it

When we went to that concert, my girlfriend was disgusted by Depeche Mode and I was their biggest fan... When we left it, I was disgusted with Dave Gahan and my girlfriend was his biggest fan...

Personally, I think this one is by far the best version>

my favorite, albeit a cover:

Skinny, heroin fueled Dave Gahan, the dude was walking the razor's edge each tourdate but God, he nails it like there's no tomorrow.

Dave Gahan is still the coolest MFer on the planet.

i saw them live in 2023 and i think it was genuinely the best concert ive ever been to

And this is how the instrumental part of Enjoy the Silence is supposed to be. Not the auditory mess it’s been since after the Devotional Tour.

100/10!

My favorite tour! Spectacular!!!

True to be told, I saw them 2 years a go and yes, this version is way better.

this performance is so dear to me

Never better than this. Remember getting goosebumps at the intro back at the 1993 shows I went to. Huge!

@grok a qué concierto pertenece esta versión??

I had never heard that version before. Did they only perform it that way live?

I Loved

This is the "born to be alive" version.

Yes, all the versions of their older songs at that time were their best without a doubt.

hard pass on that version, lol.

Fair

How lucky 😎 We had great fun with music 🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶💋❤️

Superior indeed 🙇🏻

My most favourite version

Best song EVER …

Martin was so cute there

eu choro

The Postal Service covered it a few years ago. It was solid.

I love the 9/11 performance

Very nice there then too? Their best single; I had the words to it then in Smash Hits indeed also?

Boom 💥🌹🖤

Great tour! Stockholm ✅ and London with Sisters as spec guests ✅
