Well here's a thing that I didn't know existed before today. Depeche Mode perform an acoustic version of Enjoy The Silence in 1998. It'll never catch on.

could have been done better, with a bit thicker acoustic sound, like violins replacing the synth. makes me wonder why DM never toured with an symphonic Orchestra?

Something new I learnt from @DMLiveWiki recently that I doubt many people have picked up on (unless I'm the last person to know!). Sound check from Mcr G-MEX in Jan 88, Martin plays I Want You Now, sounds like to the same backing as Pipeline. Quality not great, but it's there.
