The King and Queen, together with members of The Royal Family, have hosted a reception in honour of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace. Amongst guests were representatives of The late Queen’s former charities and patronages, as well as some very special centenarians, who are celebrating their 100th birthday today. 🎂 It was a delight to come together and share memories from the past 100 years!

This diverse selection of painters have been able to observe and capture unique moments and extraordinary locations from 70 official visits across 95 countries and regions. 🖼️ Today, the artists were celebrated at an event to mark this milestone year, with a selection of artwork on display in the Ballroom at Buckingham Palace. This summer, visitors to the State Rooms at Buckingham Palace will be able to see a special exhibition, The King’s Tour Artists, featuring over 70 works of art from His Majesty’s own collection, many on public display for the first time.
