The argument: we should address issues like prior authorizations and care denials, but if we want to lower premiums and health spending, we need to focus on hospital pricing. Cite a a book called The Silent World of Doctor and Patient by Jay Katz that Lainie Ross assigned when I was an undergrad that gets at why it’s hard to both be grateful for care and hold health care providers accountable. Let me know your thoughts.

🔵 based morning to all based builders, as we turn the page on the quarter, I want to share a lookback on our Q2 and a lookahead to our Q3. Four years ago, Polymer began to solve the scalability challenges developers face when building across chains. These problems have evolved, and so have we. It’s been 2 years since I left Paddle, and in that time, I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about what’s next. Over the last 10+ years, I’ve always tried to imagine what a financial institution built for this century would look like, and that’s what we’re building at Clove. For all the progress in consumer technology, the way in which we get guidance around our finances has barely changed. There are products to move money, and make investments, but not to answer the questions that matter – the ones about timing, trade-offs, and planning for the future. At Clove, we aim to be the partner for your whole financial life. Combining AI and humans to deliver this at an unprecedented scale.
