The product is built in partnership with S&P Dow Jones Indices, managed by Janus Henderson, and offered by Centrifuge to eligible non-US persons. Coinbase named Centrifuge a preferred tokenization infrastructure partner and Coinbase Ventures took a strategic stake to accelerate institutional asset issuance on Base. deSPXA is the flagship of a new framework Centrifuge calls deRWAs, designed to let tokenized assets interact natively with DeFi while preserving institutional compliance. The tokenized asset market has crossed $25 billion, but most of it sits in permissioned wallets with no DeFi interoperability.
