Shipping Container Loaded With Fireworks Catches Alight: Verulam CBD - KZN A shipping container packed with fireworks caught alight in the Verulam CBD – KZN a short while ago (Tuesday). Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call for assistance after smoke was seen billowing from the storage container. Moments later, the fireworks inside began erupting. Firefighters are currently on scene (15:03) and are working to extinguish the blaze. The shipping container is situated in close proximity to a business complex. The cause of the fire is unknown at this stage. In the interest of public safety, Metro Police Officers have requested that a section of the road be closed.

Residents of Tshwane, we are back in Sunnyside this evening for a by-law enforcement operation. We are at the street that houses the popular nightspot House 22. That club and many other businesses here have been served with eviction notices by the City of Tshwane. These businesses don’t have valid permits and many are none complaint. We were here a few months back and some of those we closed managed to reopen. We are closing them down again. City of Tshwane

Chums! Baby Dog here. We had an eventful New Year’s Eve! Malcy decided to teach Percy, Cleo & Ron how to play the Tablecloth Game and it got really lively! Then we started hearing Fireworks outside and Ralphy came in to see the New Year in with us. We all sat and listened to the Fireworks. Our friends, a family of 4, are currently at their first MNSSHP and we just got a message from them that she is losing her mind and that she has done nothing but stand in long lines! We advised her to get a spot for Boo to You and the fireworks and pan for shorter lines after the fireworks! It's is so much money if you don't have a plan for what you want to accomplish!
