We have now fully commissioned the machine after a few hiccups related to an old dying hard drive in the machine PC (it had a 1 gb hard drive!!) could save the machine in the nick of time with the help of a fellow machining junkie who knew how to do it! But the real reason i am writing is that we successfully ran our first 3D program on it and that the program was written entirely using Claude !! I did it myself and it took me a few hours to get it going. The best part of using Claude was that I could ask it to use macros to write the program which meant i could control *all* variables in the program. And it ran like a charm! Rendered on the part a fine finish and a brilliant high to see the part come out better than expected! I set the job myself because I wanted to get a feel for the machine, its ways and how to work with it. It had been nearly 15 years since I had set a job on the machine for a VMC, and it felt good to know the craft has not left my hands and getting them dirty while making parts still makes me happy! Samaachar samaapth :)

Starting with October 1, 2025 “there is a 2 year max time limit on this program for everyone that's able to work now” No more spending a lifetime on Section 8!! “There are major changes coming to Section 8 housing starting with October 1, 2025 that will affect millions of Americans — Instead of HUD running that voucher program national wide, they will send those funds to the state in the form of block grants which means that every state will decide how to spend those funds. But it's a smaller amount of funds so that means that fewer people will be able to get the assistance. One of the most controversial parts about this program is there is a 2 year max time limit on this program for everyone that's able to work now. There is a major contract to right now which the average family stays on this program for about six years even if they are able to work. A lot of the supporters of this build are pointing out that a lot of people are taking advantage of this program and sucking the resources that could be used for someone that actually needs them.”

Wow. Flight 7 was probably the biggest failure of the program yet. Loose flaps, hinge fire, engine out on boostback burn, and complete loss of ship. (Yes, booster catch was pretty amazing) Honestly, this sucks, but we have to move on. This is a hardware-rich testing campaign, and not everything will work as intended. It will definitely set the program back a couple of months, and it will be interesting to see how long the investigations last. But in all honesty, a couple of months is nothing in the grand scheme. 2 steps back, 1 step forward

I dedicated my life and platforms to calling for the release of the hostages for 2 years. I stood in their homes after October 7. I hugged parents who hadn’t heard their child’s voice in months. I cried with survivors who lived through the unthinkable. And I promised: I will NEVER stop fighting for you. After 737 days, the last living hostages are finally home. But this is not the end. We will not stop fighting until ALL the remaining deceased hostages are back home for a proper burial. Because bringing them home is not the end…it is the beginning of healing, the beginning of memory turned into action, the beginning of a promise: We will carry their light, we will speak their names, and we will not rest until every soul is honored, and every heart begins to mend. 🙏🏻

I’m proud of the progress this Rayce Rudeen Foundation team is making right now. We didn’t qualify as well as we wanted at the #Vegas4WideNats, but, with the Four-Wide, I don’t feel it is that important for eliminations. We were runner-up in the first quad (four cars) on a tie (time) and then, we outright won the next round and that makes us feel like we are gaining on it. I told the team that we are way ahead of where we were last week at Phoenix. And that was way ahead of the runs at Gainesville and Pomona. I feel like the team is doing a great job improving with each race, and we are in the window that we can make some small adjustments and pick speed. I think the crew is a little dejected with the final, but from the boss’ perspective, I can see us gaining on it. And we made great progress in just a week. I like seeing them pout a bit right now because of losing, but I’ll get them smiling again and ready for Charlotte. We will focus on the positive moving forward. 🎥 Las Vegas Motor Speedway
