I tested out Cyberpunk 2077 Path Tracing turned on with RX 9070 XT now that FSR Redstone is out. By using the new FSR Redstone and FSR ML Based Frame-Gen, the game reaches up to 130FPS in 1440p with FSR set to Performance Mode. The performance gains are not that much higher compared to the previous versions of FSR but the image quality got a huge upgrade, especially when using Frame-Gen. This ML based Frame Gen is much better than the previous version as it gets rid of most artifacts and ghosting caused by the previous version. If for some reason you always wanted to play Cyberpunk 2077 with Path Tracing turned on on an AMD GPU, now you can enjoy a playable experience with 100+ FPS on an RX 9070 XT. I still don't recommend it though as the frame pacing and input lag still feels off for me, I'd just rather play this without Frame Gen and Path Tracing. I'm going to test out Black Myth: Wukong next

This one is truly special. ✨ As someone who’s spent a big part of my career pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in gaming, seeing the ROG Xbox Ally come to life hits home on a whole new level. The reason why Reflections in GTA 6 look noisy and blurry isn't because Rockstar Games doesn't know how to do them or that a $2 billion budget magically fixes this. It all comes down to the GPU in current gen consoles, these consoles don't have the power they need to render high resolution Ray Traced reflections in real-time and corners had to be cut. Here I'm running GTA 5 enhanced for PC at ultra settings to show you how good and clean the reflections look if you have high-end and recent hardware that have AI upscaling to make this possible. That being said, The PS5 Pro console is much more powerful compared to the base PS5 (the footage which GTA 6 was captured) offering higher resolution, 45% faster rendering, 2X-3X better Ray Tracing performance and PSSR upscaling. With the PS5 Pro, it will have significantly better looking and sharper reflections somewhat close to what GTA 5 Enhanced reflections look like on a gaming PC at high settings. However, the ultimate experience will still be on PC when GTA 6 launches, allowing for the highest quality Ray Tracing or even Path Tracing if Rockstar Games decides to implement it.
