Maybe start with really basic things like Trains, buses, & an inch or two of segregated cycle lane? Or is it yet again East of the Bann & Belfast first, before moving on to the next topic on which they can be prioritised?

Unfortunately NI has been built around a principle of having big housing estates with a single vehicle access point and no provision for public transport. There's your biggest congestion causer, right there. You can't even exit the estates!

The pass the parcel game over the Mersey tolls continues. Today I asked what help would be offered to businesses in my constituency that are unfairly penalised by these charges, paying more to operate and struggling to recruit compared with competitors just a few miles away. The Department for Transport blames Halton Borough Council. Halton Borough Council blames the Government. Neither seems serious about helping businesses in Runcorn, Frodsham and Helsby. But I will keep fighting for a fair deal.

I’m out with a Reform UK team talking to residents in Doddinghurst and witnessing the disintegration of the Conservative vote here. County, borough… lots of issues neglected by the local council which we will fix when in office. Oh, and the flag behind me? Tell me if, like Essex County Council Conservatives, you are offended by it and ‘anxious’ at what I say about it.
