Today we see more work on a Cybercab at the Giga Texas Crash Testing facility … it looks like it has NOT been crash tested, rather they are doing inspection or development work, using the lifts that are inside the cash testing facility. This is a much higher resolution... show more

Fantastic short video clip with a unique view of a Cybercab at the Giga Texas crash testing facility today showing what it looks like under the front hood We can also see what the open door looks like from above too. In total about 12 Cybercabs were at the crash testing facility this morning with several showing some signs of completed on in progress tests. There were also 8 Cybercabs at the outbound lot today, & these appear to be more of the engineering testing versions with blue tape where exterior mirrors could be attached while they are being used for tests around the country.

With the announcement of the 1st production Cybercab today at Giga Texas, it seems perhaps the engineering versions that have been used for testing and with steering wheels and pedals are getting ready for scrapping. I noticed today 5 were parked. At the crash testing facility. Farzad 🇺🇸 🇮🇷

At the Giga Texas Test Track, we see some of it is being used now, with railed lanes, a long line of rumble strips, paint marks & cones … these are in the area where I showed a ground video yesterday of Cybercabs testing with acceleration runs. I’ve included a portion of that video in this one showing the location on the track. Speaking of Cybercab testing, we see 7 set up along with a trailer, that looks like the LIDAR testing rigs that usually we see on the roofs of vehicles driving around streets for camera validation testing & more in what seems to be a temporary dedicated testing facility until a more permanent one is completed. Still more asphalt work to complete the inner portions fo the track, but it is definitely partially operational now and being used! Very nice to see!

Many more Tesla Cybercab Castings at Giga Texas today! Looks like around 75 or so in the racks waiting for production line testing (or more than that?) 😎

Cybercab night testing & supercharging at Giga Texas’ End-of-Line (EOL) facility today. Seems like they are still entering and exiting the factory production line main exit point, driving to the W EOL & we see that they use the rear bumper supercharging port instead of inductive charging, at least for now. Check it out!

Cybercab entering into the Giga Texas production line exit this morning & we see many more castings have been made … all 3 that are used for the basic structure of the body that is part of the “unboxed” process”. We are just over 50 day s from when initial production is expected to begin. With testing of the Cybercab in multiple states and cities, crash testing & evaluation work already completed, all these castings, & production line run through tests, we are getting very close to seeing many more of these around the factory!

Cybercabs are multiplying at Giga Texas today, with some driving on the EOL test track, & a great opportunity to see a matte wrapped & production glossy gold versions side by side … great way to see the difference up close! About 40-50 Cybercabs all over the site today, including some testing out the factory exit to the W EOL facility routes, many of the prototypes at the Crash Testing facility today (possibly for recycling) and more! This short video clips show the test driving & comparison between the older and production versions!

More Cybercab action at Giga Texas today, with racing going on around the big oval for the first time I’ve been able to capture it on video! They are also doing a lot of pickup & drop off testing around the main factory, simulating passenger activities likely for the Robotaxi service.

Today “only” 32 Cybercabs were on the W side outbound lot, but in 3 different groups, one of which was lined up on the W side of the EOL facility & I captured some of these driving into the facility. I also saw Cybercabs exiting off the main highway & onto the Giga Texas property & driving around the site along with about a dozen at the Crash Testing facility today. I did not see Cybercabs exiting the factory portal today, but it is a Friday which is a normal non-production day, so that was not surprising.

Follow a newly built Cybercab exiting the Giga Texas factory for the first time & driving the full route (~1.5 miles or ~ 2.4 Km) over to the Supercharges near the EOL facility. This is the routing all Cybercabs take before final processing & then shipping off site. I saw more than 150 Cybercabs today driving or parked all over the Giga Texas site, including more drop ff testing near the factory, three large groups in the outbound lot, testing on the test track & coming off the highway frontage roads. Also, Cybercabs are accumulating in the “overflow” area south of the EOL facility for the first time I can recall. See some of the action with this clip!

🚨 Cybercab sightings surge at Giga Texas Around 25 Cybercabs were spotted across the site today as production activity ramps: • 14 parked near the factory exit • 9 at crash testing • 2 at the West End-of-Line facility Several more were seen driving around. This could be the largest public grouping of Cybercabs seen so far. $TSLA

Cybercab testing at the track continues in earnest today with more stoplights, different configurations of lanes and more as the big Cybercab Launch Event comes up just 3 days from today here at Giga Texas! We also see additional prep work at the test ops center and at the End-of-Line facility. I also noted Cybertruck driving near the Cybertunnel and on the figure 8 test track as well as many hundreds of Cybertruck F & R castings being delivered inside the factory for more production.

More Cybercab action at Giga Texas on this rainy morning! We recently saw 25 on site and now they have been moved for their next use, with 15 at Crash Testing, 4 at the factory exit point and the rest being loaded up on covered transports, possibly headed out to do more Tesla Robotaxi testing ahead of the April official start of production! Others were driving around the site too! Check out this short clip of some of the activity today!

Big day for Cybercab at Giga Texas today! Actually, yesterday to kick off March, the production line went into a higher volume & today we see 25 at three main locations, and there were several others I observed driving around too! I think this may be the largest single grouping of Cybercabs ever seen by the public! Shown here, 14 were parked outside the factory exit, 9 were at Crash Testing & 2 were at the W End-of-Line facility!

Cybercab production versions (note stickers on tires, apparently no steering wheel & seat belts across both front seats at the Giga Texas crash testing facility today. Note the image of the Cybercab team and my circled area on the top left … the wheels seen here appear to be identical to those used in the production area, so these may actually be the final wheel designs, just without the wheel covers installed. These Cybercabs may be production versions being prepared for crash testing too validated the production cars & the line.

Best view yet of a ‘complete” Cybercab rear assembly. This is one of 4 major parts that are joined together on the “unboxed” assembly line inside Giga Texas. In my main video coming out later today, I cover where this is inside the factory & more information.
