Claude Fable 5 makes new things possible. I one shot a full horror game with it. One prompt. I have never seen AI output a game like this. This is the leap I've been waiting for. 80.3 on SWE-Bench Pro vs Opus 4.8 at 69.2, the biggest jump I have ever seen on that benchmark. It passed GPT 5.5 in both coding and intelligence on Artificial Analysis. I already canceled my $200 ChatGPT Pro plan. It fixed a Bridge Voice bug in one shot that GPT 5.5, Opus 4.7, and Opus 4.8 all failed to crack for 2 months. 10/10. Best model I have ever used. Full review below.

The #1 use case of web browsing agents isn't ordering food/booking flights it's using other agentic platforms. instead of human in the loop you have *another* agent in the loop. this creates a semi autonomous agent. this is probably how we get to agi: - vertically agents (doing one thing really well) - glued together by everything api (web browser) most llm providers will probably vertically integrate. i.e good chance we'll see "operating agents" running thousands of chatgpt/claudes instances on your behalf. ex: just watched operator using an ai spreadsheet (Otto ) to research, store and then use the data for creating a powerpoint. the only thing it needs to worry about is the high level goal and moving things around.

Dan on why Anthropic's focused strategy has an edge over OpenAI's push across multiple markets: "The TAM is certainly not the problem. Focus is going to be a question mark. I rarely have seen any company succeed trying to go after multiple end markets at the same time. You risk not being the best at any one thing. So that is the trade-off. OpenAI is taking the strategy of let's do everything. We are going to go after Apple hardware, robotics, enterprise, consumer, science. They've been very successful in a lot of ways, but that's hard. I can't think of many examples where that's been successful. Anthropic took a different approach and just said, we are going to focus on enterprise. They've had a lot of success with coding and enterprise. I would probably err on the side of focus, but I do understand the economic rationale for trying to do as many things as once."

I love using GLM 5.2 for web app iteration. My workflow: generate 6 variations, then pick the best one and continue iterating on it. I built Recast to make this even easier. Give it a prompt, get 6 variations, download the code for your favorite version, then continue iterating in your own coding agent. GLM 5.2 works really well for this use case since it's fast, cheap, and great at design. On average, you can make 3-6 landing pages with GLM 5.2 for every one you can generate with Opus 4.8. And the design variety of the GLM landing pages helps a lot with trying to think through what style you want to go with. Recast is launching soon (as a web app + skill).

I’ve been too worried it’s not the best it can be, but my wife encouraged me to fail fast if I was worried about failure, so here we are.
