Today, while inspecting a bridge project in Bulambuli Town Council under our national “Expose the Corrupt in Local Government” campaign, we uncovered serious irregularities. The bridge that was constructed is only about half the size of what was specified in the approved Bill of Quantities (BOQ). Even more disturbing,... the contractor used black soil as the foundation and final connecting layer instead of the required hardcore and swamp reinforcement materials, in complete disregard of the approved engineering specifications. These actions have caused Government an estimated loss of UGX 500 million and represent a blatant misuse of public funds. The Bulambuli Town Council Engineer and the Town Clerk have fled and are currently on the run. They will be apprehended and held accountable, together with anyone else found to have participated in this fraud. This is exactly why we launched the “Expose the Corrupt in Local Government” campaign. Those who steal from the people and compromise public infrastructure will face the full force of the law. Headline: All involved in the creation of ghost health workers in hospitals and ghost students in our local schools must face the law Following President Yoweri K Museveni Mzee’s directive, Kisanja no more sleep. Expose the corrupt. The corrupt in local government should seek Christ. It is not too late to ask for forgiveness. We must forge a new path of zero tolerance to corruption. Last night at 3:00 a.m., accompanied by the Regional Internal Security Organization (RISO) Chief, the State House Anti-Corruption Unit, representatives of the Criminal Investigations Directorate (CID), the DISO Mbale, and other security officials, we carried out an unannounced inspection at Busiu Health Centre IV, the largest health facility in Mbale District. Our inspection uncovered five ghost staff who have reportedly been on the Government of Uganda payroll since July 2025 despite not being at the facility. This raises a serious question: who has been benefiting from salaries meant for these health workers? It is deeply disturbing that while the available medical team is overwhelmed by the huge number of patients, corrupt individuals continue to siphon resources intended to strengthen healthcare service delivery. This is unacceptable, and it must stop. With inspections of only two health centres in Mbale District, we have already uncovered 10 ghost staff being paid by the Government of Uganda. Every shilling stolen from the public is a shilling taken away from essential services for our people. We shall continue these unannounced inspections and ensure that everyone involved is held accountable. Corruption in our health sector and in our local schools, where ghost students are created to steal public resources, has no place in Uganda. We wrapped up the #UkatibaCaravan in Garissa County. The day began in Garissa Town with an appeal for voter registration, then we made stops in Soko Ng'ombe, Shimbirey Village and Modogashe. The wealth of a people is the source of their pride as people who work and produce. A government must provide the infrastructure to build industry, markets and good prices for meat and milk. Registering as a voter gives you the opportunity to elect that kind of government. A government that will be sensitive. A government of #Ukatiba and #Utu #UkatibaNdioTiba

The people of J&K have given a clear, decisive mandate to the National Conference and Indian National Congress alliance. The priority of the alliance government will be the restoration of the statehood of J&K. The alliance government will be responsible, accountable, and transparent for the people of J&K. The people of J&K have defeated the mischievous designs of the BJP to engineer a majority of its own. As far as Haryana is concerned, I have been in connection with the Election Commission. We have received very serious complaints on the process of counting, the functioning of EVMs in at least 3 districts, and more coming in. The consolidated complaints will be submitted to the Election Commission very soon. We reiterate that the results in Haryana are totally unexpected, completely surprising, and counterintuitive. It goes against ground reality—what the people of Haryana had made up for, which was for change and transformation. What we have seen in Haryana today is a victory of manipulation and subverting the will of the people; it's defeat for transparent democratic processes. The campaign has ended, but the mission remains. We must wrest control of our country away from the corporations and back into the hands of people. And the only force capable of doing that is a movement of people unlike any we have seen in generations. Thank you to everyone who volunteered and supported this campaign, to all the young people who got involved in politics for the first time through this campaign, and I hope you will stay in this fight with me.

I thank the Ataoja of Osogbo, Oba Jimoh Olanipekun, and the entire people of Osogbo for welcoming us to the grand finale of our federal constituency tour to energise the people and introduce the ADC to them. In two days, it will be fifteen years since we came to Osogbo to assume the reins of government, and to this day, even after we left seven years ago, the people have never stopped appreciating the work we did and the impact it had on their lives. When the ADC returns to power, we will do even more. Do not forget that when we left office, Osun had the LOWEST CRIME RATE, the 2nd LOWEST UNEMPLOYMENT RATE, and the LOWEST POVERTY RATE in the country. This was made possible by our vision of a people-friendly government, the cooperation and sacrifices of our workers, and the hard work of our people, who remained productive because government was not politicised. Today, local government administration has ground to a halt due to the destructive politicking of the governments in power. When the wicked rule, the people suffer. We, however, have the fear of God, and we will restore a God-fearing government that puts the people first. ADC, Arise and Shine!

Sfiso will be voting for the very first time in the 2026 Local Government Elections! Our most urgent task is to register young people to vote. I am heartbroken to see reports that the wildfire has entered the townsite of Jasper. The safety of everyone is our number one priority, and thankfully the town was evacuated earlier this week. I want to thank all of our firefighters and crews who have been hard at work fighting this fire day and night. The Town of Jasper and Jasper National Park have all hands on deck. Alberta Wildfire is on the ground to supporting them. Our government will have more to say tomorrow, but in the meantime please keep Jasper in your thoughts and your prayers. #JasperStrong #AlbertaStrong
