Got so many DMs today from people struggling with the new Axis Robotics tasks 😭 Especially the "fork" task the grip wasn’t working, tasks were getting missed and slots were gone. So I made this quick video guide for all the beginners and anyone still struggling with small objects 👇 🤖 I’ve shown how I position the gripper using sensitivity control and pick up the fork properly so you can get a clean grip and complete the task. Hope this helps you save your next slot 🫂 If you haven't joined yet here is my link 🔗 - Don’t get frustrated after a few failed attempts. Once you get the grip right, it gets much easier. 🫡

It happens to everyone I talk to as well. We have a solution for this now. The team Augment Code released a "Task List" feature for their coding assistant that solves this problem. Augment Code is partnering with me on this post. In case you haven't used them before: • Augment Code is a fully-fledged coding assistant • Their specialty are large projects • Fastest coding indexing I've seen • Has a free forever community edition Now, you can ask their coding agent to generate a Task List before doing anything. This will give you a plan you can review, edit, and augment if you need to. You can export this plan, load it on a different session, or even share it across projects. It makes a huge difference: The task list constrains the agent so you won't get any "unintended" changes anymore. It also puts you in control of everything the agent does. Ansem has been constantly tweeting “Proof of Bagwork” and rewarding $ANSEM holders for actually putting bagworking. Yet, despite asking for it multiple times, nobody built the tech to automate it. Jensen Huang said fears about AI destroying jobs are nonsense driven by people making things up. Then he gave the most concrete proof I have ever heard. He called it the radiology story. 12 years ago one of the world's most respected computer scientists made a prediction. Computer vision had become superhuman at reading medical scans. It never got tired. It never missed a detail. So he said radiology was finished. He advised nobody to enter the field. The job was going to be wiped out. Jensen said he was absolutely right. Computer vision did penetrate every single radiology stack. Every radiologist today is augmented by it. The task of reading scans became automated. Then the opposite of the prediction happened. Radiology demand went up. The number of radiologists in the world went up. The reason is the distinction Jensen kept coming back to the whole talk. Task versus purpose. The task of a radiologist is reading scans. The purpose is working with doctors to diagnose disease. When the task got automated, radiologists got more productive. More productive meant more patients admitted. More patients meant more scans. More scans meant more profit. More profit meant they hired more radiologists. The field the expert said would be wiped out needed more people than before. Jensen's point was not that AI creates no disruption. His point was that people confuse the task with the job and then make predictions that cause real damage. Fewer people trained in radiology because of that speech. Now there is a shortage. Someone recently said 90% of software coding will disappear. Jensen said Nvidia is hiring more software engineers than ever. Coding is not a software engineer's job. Solving problems is. When you automate the task, you free the person to do the actual job. That is not a job loss. That is an upgrade.

Teleoperating a robot is hard. This means that when performing a robot task via teleoperation — say, to collect examples for training a robot policy — it’s almost unavoidably slower than you would like, below either the capabilities of the human expert on their own or the robot performing the task. Wouldn’t it be great if there was a way to fix this? Unfortunately, it’s harder than it looks. You can’t just execute faster, as this alters the distribution of environment states the policy will encounter. Nadun Ranawaka Arachchige and Zhenyang Chen propose Speed-Adaptive Imitation Learning (SAIL), which adds error-adaptive guidance, adapts execution speed according to task structure, predicts controller-invariant action targets to ensure robustness across execution speeds, and explicitly models delays from, for example, sensor latency.
