Today, I questioned Blockchain Association and Nasdaq on the benefits of both native and wrapper models. The utility of tokenization for retail investors and our economy cannot be understated, and Financial Services GOP Republicans are committed to ensuring America is at the forefront of tokenization innovation. President Donald J. Trump has promised to make the U.S. the most pro-crypto nation in the world, and after passing the GENIUS and CLARITY Acts out of the House, tokenization is the next step to deliver on that promise.

Tokenization has Washington's attention. “We are on the cusp of releasing an 'innovation exemption' to begin facilitating the trading of tokenized securities onchain.” SEC Chairman Paul Atkins, speaking at the Economic Club of Washington, outlining the regulatory framework coming for tokenized securities. “I launched Project Crypto to modernize the securities rules and regulations to facilitate markets' moving onchain.” Washington is no longer debating whether tokenized securities belong in the market. It's writing the rules for them to coexist with the existing legacy financial system.
