Yesterday I joined Sara Eisen on CNBC. We discussed the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission rule we adopted to improve risk management in clearance and settlement and facilitate additional central clearing for the U.S. Treasury market.

Wait, wut? You implement rules to improve clearance & settlement in the largest market in the world & don’t adopt any blockchain tech? If our markets were blockchain-based they likely would not have frozen due to settlement issues in 2008. We know you hate crypto but you gave a course on blockchain at MIT?! Oh yeah, while I’m writing to you, can I have the 14 GIGS of data you aren’t supposed to have on me but do and refuse to give to me despite bring legally required to do so? Thought I’d ask nicely one more time before I file suit against the SEC to compel production of this data. According to government court filings & multiple laws you shouldn’t have this data on me. Is it because there are potential criminal ramifications of sharing personal information on citizens with other agencies or just that the SEC led a criminal prosecution which is illegal. So many clearly established laws likely broken by the very same SEC who invents laws then prosecutes good actors into submission.
