Tom Brady says he was shocked by Peyton Manning’s breakfast when they worked out: pancakes, bacon, sausages and biscuits with gravy “I called Peyton. It was the offseason. ‘Let's me and you get together. I've learned from all the other quarterback coaches. Why don't me and you sit down...

Matthew McConaughey reveals the three words his dad said that changed his life “I said dad, I don't want to go to law school anymore. I want to go to film school and after about a 5 second pause, he goes, ‘Are you sure that's what you want to do?’ I reply yes sir” “Another long pause. Then I hear, ‘Well, don't halfass it’” “I remember just beaming, hopping up just like Yes! My dad not only said okay. The way he said don't halfass it, it was also, okay. Let's go big boy. Own that shit. Get some leverage. Get some horsepower behind where you're going. Go do it” “I remember to this day and I've learned this later I think from becoming a father, part of what I believe happened to him and why he said that to me that way on that call was the way that I asked him. I wasn't really asking. It was, ‘I don't want to go to law school, Dad. I want to go to film school.’ I didn't stutter. He heard his son saying this is what I want to do” “What I think happened to him in that moment is what I think any father, any parent loves. You raise your kids in a certain way and you give them a guideline, a ladder to climb and here's the guidelines and if you do it this way, you're most likely going to have some success in life and it'll work out for you and then when we do it that way, we can be proud parents” “But what do we really want to happen when our kids are out of the house and they're on their own? We kind of want them to call one day and go, ‘I'm breaking out. I'm going my own way.’ And as a parent, we go, as much as it may scare us, we're going, ‘Yes!’ I gave my kid the confidence and the courage and the foundation to say they're going to go their own way” “In a way, I think every parent honors and loves that moment. I heard my dad, when he didn't hear me stutter, when he heard me directly say what I said. I wasn't really asking him. Even though I was out of respect asking him, the way I said it, I wasn't asking him and I think he felt that” “Don't halfass it”

#poon_mit12 🐶: I just want to bring up one point. Actually, I don't know if anyone will be upset with me or feel bad, but I'd like to address one thing, everyone. It's been stuck in my heart for several days now. I was on X and I wasn't very comfortable the other day when I opened it up and saw our fanclub fighting. Honestly, the comments from all sides were deleted, but I read them all. I feel like everyone has their own reasons; I understand why this person would think this way or why that person would think that way. But what I want to say is in the end, I'm not stressed, but I just feel like we are on the same side! We are in the same team, please don't worry. And when you guys fight, I'm begging you, let's just be happy together instead, because we're already on the same team. I wanted to tell everyone that seeing you guys fight amongst yourselves makes me uneasy. We're people on the same side, yet.. and actually, I find it kind of funny. I feel like fans fighting is just like a couple fighting. It's like, 'Why didn't you do that?' or 'Why didn't I do this?' and things like that. I feel that some people might feel bad, and I apologise if this is a sensitive issue. But I feel it's actually something quite cute, because in the end, everyone just wants to push and support (us). Everyone wants to push us forward, and I believe that all four of the main actors are giving it their all already. So I really want all the fanclub members to love each other, please. We are on the same team, and I love you all.

🚨🗣️😡 #EXTORTION — Jon Rahm TEE’S OFF on the DP World Tour with explosive quotes from Hong Kong, accusing the league of extorting its own players. “I don't know what game they're trying to play right now, but it just seems like in a way they're using us to -- they're using our impact in tournaments and finding us and trying to benefit both ways from what we have to offer, and it's just in a way they're extorting players like myself and young players that have nothing to do with the politics of the game…. “…I don't like what they're doing currently with the contract they're having us sign. I don't like the conditions….” “They're asking me to play a minimum of six events, and they dictate where two of those have to be, amongst other things that I don't agree with….” “I just don't like the situation. I think we should be able to freely play where we want and have the choice to play where we want and not be dictated what we do. Especially myself. I can't speak for others; only myself.” “I've always committed to play the minimum requirement, and I think I've played four events, including the Spanish Open, every year except one as a pro, and I commit to do that. That's not going to change. I still fully intend to do that…. “So I don't like the situation and I'm not going to agree to that. Now, I did tell them, funny enough, lower that to four events, like the minimum says, and I'll sign tonight. They haven't agreed to that. I just refuse to play six events. I don't want to, and that's not what the rules say.” (🎥 via LIV Golf)
