He publicly attacked psychiatry, condemned psychiatric drugs, challenged reporters to their faces and...

usa has an aversion to genuine laughter and happy. you know that belly laugh that goes silent the real laughter usa sees that as unobtainable. they didn't like happy tom and he was attacking the manic overload of prescribed drugs which movies have shown killed people.

As long as Tom is not trying to educate his fame about morality and political matters, he’s a national treasure and a gleaming example of “rags to riches” and the opportunities that exist in this nation. Leave the man alone.

I think he realized that folks want him to act, not preach. When actors come out preaching down to people, the last thing consumers want to do is pay to see you in a movie or buy your music!!!! Just shut up and act or sing!!! Normal folks don’t go around talking politics to folks they don’t know!!!! It’s a touchy subject to some people!!! It enrages half the country!!!

I suggest that he would feel the same way about those topics today.

Hollywood that fights morality and virtues and is a tool to destroy them in societies not only in America but in the world, and I am sure they will do with Cruise what they did with Marlon Brando, Mel Gibson, Jim Carrey and others

Cruise had a long talk with David Miscavige, his hands-on bromance/psychological & supervisory partner and the top ecclesiastical leader of the Church of Scientology.

A 26-year-old Tom Cruise on failure, risk, and refusing the "movie star" label: In a 1988 interview around the release of Rain Man, the interviewer pushes Cruise on whether fame has made him emotionally guarded — suggesting that "just out of necessity as a movie star, there is some part of you that has to be cut off." Cruise pushes back immediately: "You have to understand, it's not about being a movie star. This whole interview and every time we sit down — you ask me this, and every time I tell you that there isn't a part of me that's cut off. It is about the work. Being a movie star is a wonderful thing that has happened, but that's not how I approach choosing a film or how I approach my life." He insists he still lives a normal life — going to the movies, the gas station, grocery shopping. No entourage mythology. No mystique. Just work. The interviewer then tries another angle, noting that Cruise has "one of the nicest reputations in Hollywood" but doesn't let people get real close. Cruise's response is disarmingly simple: "I feel like I'm letting you pretty close. I'm doing this to help promote the films and I don't really hold back that much, but there are certain things I don't want to talk about or that aren't important for people to hear." It's not guardedness. It's boundaries — and at 26, he already knew the difference. When asked about confidence and whether it ever gets shaken, Cruise is surprisingly candid: "All the time. Sometimes I look back and wonder where I got off going to New York to say I'm going to be an actor." But then he reveals the mindset that arguably built one of the most durable careers in Hollywood history: "What has helped me is that I don't treat failure as a personal, horrendous defeat. If something didn't work, I want to know why it didn't work so I can evaluate it, learn from it, and lift myself up." b No dramatics. No ego protection. Just a feedback loop: fail, understand why, adjust, move forward. And when the interviewer points out that he seems to court danger — with racing, with risky career moves Cruise doesn't deny it: "I guess I like to have everything on the line. I like to feel that there is something at stake, and I really enjoy that."

After eight weeks of being called boring furniture, clown, chicken. After eight weeks of people questioning his place in this house, asking what he does, what he contributes, what exactly he brings to the table. After his kindness was questioned. His genuineness was questioned. His gentleness mistaken for weakness. His understanding mistaken for passivity. His friendships scrutinized. His neutrality criticised. His resilience overlooked. After weeks of the public evicting him over and over again before the live eviction shows even began. After sitting in the bottom three. After watching people confidently predict that his time in the house was coming to an end. After being told, in one way or another, that he was not doing enough, not saying enough, not being enough. And yet, here we are. Barry Yornwin is the VERY FIRST FINALIST of Big Brother Naija Season 10. The same Barry people called furniture is now standing at the door of the finale. The same Barry whose presence was questioned for eight weeks has outlasted housemates, evictions, nominations, predictions, doubt, and every attempt to convince the public that he did not belong here. Maybe he was never meant to be the loudest person in the room. Maybe his story was never about performing for approval. Maybe there was always something powerful about the way he continued to exist exactly as himself, even when people demanded a version of him they could understand. Eight weeks of being underestimated, and he is still here. Eight weeks of being counted out, and he is still here. Eight weeks of people asking what Barry does, and now Barry has done something nobody else in this house can take away from him. He made it to the finale. FIRST. Barry Yornwin, you are a finalist. And to everyone who has watched him, defended him, believed in him, argued for him, and kept showing up for him even when the odds seemed determined to say otherwise—this one is ours too. We did not come this far to be quiet about it. MAKE SOME FUCKING NOISE!!!!!!!!!! 🔥😭 BARRY THE FINALIST BARRY SON OF GRACE 🎥:Big Brother Naija #BarryYornwin #BBNaija

A brilliant interview from Tom Cruise talking about hosting the Prince and Princess of Wales for his movie premiere, "Digger"☺️ The first question the reporter asked is a normal silly question and Tom handled it easily: "What did you get to talk about with William and Kate?" He replied easily : "We have private conversations, we talk about things that are between us". Of course, Tom would never speak on anything they discuss. If Tom was someone who could not be trusted with private conversations, William would never have him close to himself, nor his wife. Loyalty and discretion are key to get anywhere near these two👌🏽 Now comes the fun part, when Tom gushes about the couple and cannot help but expose his crush on Catherine. "I have so much respect for them, you know they are amazing people, and how dedicated they are to their country and also what they give to the world. They are beautiful peope and fun, very funny." Then he starts on Catherine and the reporter cannot stop him🤭 "She has got a great, incredible sense of humor and obviously very intelligent and fun. And of course her dress...that dress she was wearing... They are both so elegant and charismatic but that dress she was wearing,...stunning.. yeah I know. Stunning. William did well, really well. Way to go man, smart, smart choice. I have to give it to William, way to go. Smart choice."😍 We have our answers my dear, Tom Cruise is indeed crushing hard on Catherine. Yoj could really tell by the goofy smile on his face everytime he would look or talk to Catherine and the way he absolutely insisted on holding her hand down the stairs... Tom was being a gentlemen to his crush, all right😂🤣😂 William knows how lucky he is and that he has made an excellent choice but it adds to the male ego to hear it from other men as well. I sent that video to my brother and his comment was: "I know what he means. If Catherine was a car, she would be a Rolls Royce or a Bentley. She is quiet luxury and the perfect woman at any man's arm because she makes a Man look tall, affluent and powerful."🔥 That is exactly how William walks when she is by his side: taller and more confident. Catherine simply captivates in the way she looks, talks and gracefully holds herself. She knows her worth and it shows in her quiet self- assurance. The late Prince sung about "Purple rain"; I know when he got home from the premiere that night, Tom Cruise changed the words in his head to "Purple Dress"🤭😂😭 #PrincessofWales
