Tom Homan shuts down claims that Milo Yiannopoulos received preferential treatment after ICE deported him to the United Kingdom just one day after his arrest: "He had his due process...It's that simple." Homan said Yiannopoulos overstayed his visa, failed to appear for his immigration hearing and was ordered deported... by a federal judge. HOMAN: "Once ICE gets an order of deportation from a federal judge, their job is to execute that order. That's what they did." "He had his due process, was ordered removed by a federal judge, and ICE removed him. It's that simple." When pressed on the rapid turnaround, Homan explained that DHS has been accelerating removals to reduce detention costs and free beds for additional detainees. HOMAN: "Once a judge orders them out, rather than being in detention waiting for travel documents and flight arrangements, ICE, along with CBP and the Department of Homeland Security, is working really good on the efficiency of the removal process." A retired U.S. Army Staff Sergeant with approximately 20 years of combined service in the U.S. Army and Texas National Guard is publicly appealing to federal immigration authorities to release his wife from ICE custody. His wife, Arelys Barahona-Martinez, 40, a citizen of Honduras, was taken into ICE custody on Wednesday during a routine check-in at an agency office in Dallas. She had been living in the United States despite having a final order of removal issued by an immigration judge back in 2005. In a statement, the Department of Homeland Security said: “Barahona-Martinez received full due process and was issued a final order of removal from an immigration judge on November 2, 2005. The Trump administration is not going to ignore the rule of law. She will remain in ICE custody pending removal from the U.S.”

ICE says ALEXANDER ALFREDO PALACIOS GUEVARA is a Surenos gang member who has had an active deportation order since February 2024. He is a convicted murderer, and also has two prior convictions for attempted murder, all in Los Angeles County. During his ICE arrest, he repeatedly told me, on camera, that he shouldn't be deported because he has "CAT". It turns out, his claim was true. ICE wasn't aware during his arrest, but in the last days of the Biden admin, in December 2024, Guevara had been granted what's known as "DCAT", or Deferred Removal under the Convention Against Torture, meaning he can't be deported to his home country because he fears he will be tortured there. The decision was made by the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), under the Biden Department of Justice, on 12/18/2024. ICE will keep Guevara in custody & seek to deport him to a third party country, but they are waiting for SCOTUS to rule on their ability to do so, after a federal judge in Boston blocked third party removals earlier this year. ICE, under the Trump admin, is outraged that a decision under the Biden admin is currently stopping them from deporting a convicted murderer & alleged gang member who has a final deportation order & received his due process. Good News: Minnesota Stabilizing President Trump’s Border Czar Tom Holman held a press conference this morning and acknowledged that while DHS have carried out targeted enforcement, “DHS got away from that" here in Minnesota. Homan added that "President Trump wants this fixed and I'm going to fix it." Great! That's been our position all along, that the police state tactics of ICE have been the problem since the beginning. Those tactics were the catalyst for pushback from the very start of the ICE campaign, and became the focus of international attention when Renee Good was shot -- an event which triggered many Minnesotan citizens to go on defense with their whistles and cameras, including the late Alex Pretti. The fact that Alex Pretti was actively trying to push back against the police state tactics of ICE was never disputed. He wanted ICE out because, as he and so many Minnesotans saw it, masked up federal agents dressed for war represented an undeclared war against Minnesota itself. Earlier video of Pretti pushing back hard against ICE in no way reduces the injustice of what ultimately happened to him, regardless of whether you agreed with his resistance or not. Tom Homan is right. This got out of control. And he's collaborating with local police and government here in Minnesota to, as he put it, "regain law and order" here. Again, great! Let’s do this. Meanwhile, Congress is right to investigate what happened here in Minnesota to make sure that what happened here in Minnesota never happens again to any other American city. Border czar Tom Homan said the "hostile rhetoric" against immigration agents "must stop" and suggested that people take their protests to Congress instead of against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. "If you want certain laws reformed, then take it up with Congress," Homan said. "Again, ICE isn't making this up. They're enforcing laws enacted by Congress and signed by the president." Homan spoke to reporters for the first time Thursday since President Donald Trump sent him to Minnesota following backlash over the second fatal shooting of a U.S. citizen by federal agents in the state this month. Homan said while he supports the right to protest, there will be "zero tolerance" for protesters who interfere with law enforcement officers. CNN’s Sara Sidner tried to get Scott Jennings to buy into the framing that the anti-ICE lunatic who attacked an NYC federal building was just “a single guy who decided to do something illegal.” Jennings took out his pickaxe and smashed that narrative to bits right in front of her. SIDNER: “When you look at this, do you agree with Homan that this is something that is because of Democrats, or is this a single guy who decided to do something that was illegal?” JENNINGS: “Of course I agree with Homan, and it’s not a single guy.” “This is another in a long string of attacks on ICE personnel, ICE facilities.” “There’s been a massive spike in violence against ICE agents, really against all law enforcement, specifically federal law enforcement out there.” “So I think Mr. Homan is absolutely correct.” “And I think you’ve got members of Congress, the mayor of New York City, governors, as Homan said, all sorts of people out there who are using language that would lead someone to go do these kinds of things.” “It’s despicable.” “These people are effectively political vigilantes.
