I've been making BLT's with heirloom tomatoes, but I'm kinda torn on what else to do with them. It feels a waste to chuck one into a sauce. What would you recommend?

so why is local produce (esp in CA) more expensive? with transport costs, etc., it should be cheaper.

Smaller producers and they pick when ripe as opposed to mass production picked, gassed then trucked.

I just ate my first cherry tomato off my plant. It was so good! Can’t wait til they take off!

I’m lucky to be next to Hanover county They have the best tomatoes, peaches and any berry !
