@TphamLV The league won't or can't let the middle class thrive while they get advantages from bringing up minor leaguers. Paying a dude 5M for the same production as a kid making 750k is a bit of an obvious move.

@Ken_Rosenthal @TphamLV Perfect example how dopes who work for agents like Ken Rosenthal don’t understand why cap and floor with help average players to extend careers because lower teams would need them to meet cap floor requirements

Points aren’t the separator… Players are so consumed with how many points they average, and OBVIOUSLY points set the level… you need to be able to score it. But when you dive in to separating players that score the ball at the same rate… it’s about HOW they go about it. How are they impacting the game beyond the scoring? How are they getting their shots, and how many shots are they taking? If players focus on the how, their game becomes more well rounded and efficient 👍👍

Noelvi Marte had three more hits, including his 7th homer, in Saturday's doubleheader for Louisville Bats. He's hitting .374 with a 1.016 OPS. I'd submit that if the #Reds really don't believe he can help them more than several current roster options, they should trade him. If they don't like Marte, if they don't believe in Marte, if they want to punish Marte, cool. Trade him. I'm not saying he's a perfect player. I'm not yet convinced he can be successful, long term on the MLB level. But I do know in 90 MLB games last season, he hit .263 with 14 HR and 51 RBI. How many players on this team are on that pace for 162 games? I get the concern about his plate discipline and how he carries himself. But he's shown the discipline and 'attitude' to tear up AAA. Time to fish, or cut bait. This is silly.
