The mother seemed helpless, and the baby was so vulnerable. But what happened next completely shocked me. The wolf gently started to lick the calf, cleaning it. It was so gentle. It laid down right beside them, like a protector. I'm still in awe of what I witnessed." ❤️

I didn't hear Penny call my name at the finish line. And tjo shem she tried. I think I know why I didn't hear her shout my name.....My goal was an 11:15 - 11:20 finish. We started in batches of 3 and I was in the 3rd wave. Out of habit, I switched my Garmin off twice at a water point and forgot to switch it back on for a while. My timing was off and I had no idea what time it was. I wasn't worried as I knew I was comfortably ahead of cut-off. At 72 kms, I heard a fellow runner tell another that "We have 2 and a half hours left to finish. We will come in at 11:10." Silly me didn't realize that these were group 2 runners and they had started earlier. Which meant I had even more time to finish and I'd caught up with many Group 2 runners. I had judged myself according to their progress. As I came closer to the finish line I saw the Group 3 clock say 10:58:22. I was stunned, mentally frozen so I switched off and chased my bronze medal with 1 minute 7 seconds to spare. A 10:58:53 finish was satisfying.

FSD just gained a new lifetime user. I saw this posted on reddit and thought I would share it here. ---- I am not a regular subscriber, but I was getting over COVID. With the foggy brain I subscribed to FSD just for the month to help me get around while recovering. I am fully recovered but get to enjoy the rest of the month of FSD. Car updated from 13.2.9 yesterday to 14.2. Today on my way home this happened! I couldn't figure out why it was slamming on the brakes until a mere second before the deer jumped out. I am so thankful. It doesn't replace human intervention but all the extra 'eyes' help. I'm still in shock and so happy I didn't destroy the deer and the car. source:

I was on my last set of 40 when I felt myself began to slow down. I didn’t think much of it at first, but I started feeling a little funny on the way to the treadmill to cool down. It was a very weird, feeling not tired, not dizzy this weird fog. I tried walking for about a minute, but felt off to the point I sat down. I definitely think I push myself a little too far today.

I built a full-stack Chat App to learn React Deeper. When I started, I only know the basics in React. I was hesitant at first if I would be able to do it or not, but I started building it anyways. Through building it, I have learned: - Typescript - Tailwind - Redux - Firebase - File Structuring - Optimization - More hooks The list could go on... The point is you don't need to know it all to start building something. Fundamentals are enough, you can figure out and learn the others on the way. The other night I was home alone and turned the dryer on before I went to bed… there was a blockage of lint on the external line (I had even just cleaned it recently 🤯) and it started smoking, and the dog I rescued from the shelter alerted me at 2am and saved my house from catching on fire. As of today, he has had a cheeseburger everyday since in gratitude of his protection of our home. The person that had him before thought he was worthless, but to me Jack’s is priceless. ❤️🐶
