We agree. But unless u meet w families to really understand why campaigns like this are derisive, divisive, discriminatory and dishonest, the solutions you’re proposing will fail. We are the only lobbying org led for & by families whose children are non attendees. Spk to us.

Putting a statement like this out implies you have no idea why children are missing school. BUT I think you know why and if you don't know why, it's not difficult to work out. Covid. Bring back precautionary measures so we can all get back into our lives, including the disabled, the infirm, the vulnerable and those with a mental disability. #CovidIsNotOver #CovidIsAirborne

Stop forcing them get infected with covid at school then without access to vaccination. Improve ventilation and install HEPA filters in classrooms! If it's good enough for Parliament, it's good enough for schools... RIGHT?

My child had missed 5 days max in 11 years of schooling prior to covid. He’s now ill every few weeks. He loves school but he can’t learn when ill. Fix it.

It is driven by persistent sickness absence as per inquiry into said issue! If you don’t deal with IPC in schools you will not improve attendance. Forcing sick kids in, makes more kids sick. The curriculum is so rigid there’s no room for recovery so kids are left behind…

Remember during convid.. you (Labour) and the teaching unions, didn’t care about the kid’s education. You labelled the kids dangerous and stated teachers were more important than their students. Labour and the unions would have seen the school closed for another year!! Now you will reap what you sow!

Well maybe if you and the education unions had not taught kids that school was not necessary when you closed schools in the "pandemic" causing great harm they might not now be deciding school is optional for them. Just another consequence of the hysteria and panic you and the media created.

It’s covid! Covid is airborne. Schools are unsafe!!!! When will people actually start to protect our children? The devastation to the younger generation by the harms of SARs 2 is off the scale! Parliament has clean filtered air, why can our kids not have that protection too?

Morning rant from me, sorry in advance! Dafen School remains closed today. The amount of messages and conversations we have had with parents terrified to send their children to school is heartbreaking! We should NEVER be worried about sending our children to school yet here we are! Many parents have kept their children off school today. This is Wales.

Our Foreign Intelligence has located specific addresses of Ukrainian children abducted by Russia. We are providing our partners with lists of children who must be returned. This is a sensitive issue, with a great deal of quiet diplomatic work underway. To foil any Russian attempt to claim they supposedly know nothing about these children, we are ensuring that addresses are included as well. The first such list – containing over 300 surnames, first names, and addresses of abducted children – will be on the desks of all the leaders assisting in this effort.
