OpenAI's Deep Research is getting a run for its money. Deep Lake was just released, and it's a different take on an AI system that can do deep research on your own data. You can use Deep Lake to build AI search with reasoning on your private and public data. (Look at the attached videos to get an idea of how it works.) If you want to research proprietary and sensitive data, Deep Research won't help you because it's limited to public data. Deep Lake, however, will allow you to use your private data. On top of that, Deep Lake supports multi-modal retrieval from the ground up. It uses vision language models for data ingestion and retrieval so that you can connect any data (PDFs, images, videos, structured data, etc.) You can even use mixed-data queries! Deep Lake can search your data from S3, Dropbox, and GCP. It learns from your queries over time, making the results as relevant to your work as possible!

You need to change your mindset! No one can do it for you. You can CHOOSE to see silver linings OR just the possibility of rain. You can CHOOSE your HARD... - Struggle through a workout vs struggle to look at yourself & how unhealthy you've become - Struggle to learn a new skill vs struggle in a job you hate. 6 months ago we were dropping a new app every week No one cared We’d randomly get 10k users on an app But they came for the app, not the person The thing is, I don’t care about making a retentive app for one audience I want to be a retentive person ~ for my audience What if I was the app? Not a single Paul Thomas Anderson movie is the same Different subject matter, different genres, so you’d assume different audiences However the same people that went to see his last film, came to see One Battle After Another So the demographic isn't dependent on the subject matter The demographic is just, Paul Thomas Anderson fans The software industry has long told that you need to work on one thing, for the rest of your life That’s not how art works tho, is it? Can you imagine telling Jay Z “Great job on the blueprint, now iterate on that same album for the next decade” The landscape of tech haas been stifling the growth of creators by not allowing them to explore other interests 6 months ago I said no to this "requirement", despite what everyone told me, and continued to drop what I liked every week The second a trend was happening on Tiktok, I had the app out that week Somehow 6 months later, the world is conforming to this ideology Instead of software creators limited to making apps for one audience and one niche, there’s a new world of ephemerality and expression What if instead of optimizing for users, we optimized for fans Making apps that are expressive of your life, your commentary, your heartbreak Garnering an audience that will follow you through each step of your story Each of those steps being its own app Why shoot for daily active users when you can get daily loving fans When fans use your app, it’s not just about resonating with the story, the app places them IN THEIR OWN story Here’s an example You’re a 20 year old girl who’s at UMiami You scroll through Tiktoks in your dorm room about “mogging”, a trend to outshine your friend in a photo You laugh and share videos seeing celebrities mog each other, but that’s the extent of it Then at Danger Testing we make an app called mog or not, where you and your friend can upload a photo and AI tells you who’s mogging Now you’re at the bar with your sorority sisters, playing all night, whether your winning or losing it’s the time of your life cause something is finally about YOU ENOUGH OF WATCHING MOVIES LET’S MAKE YOU THE MOVIE LET’S MAKE YOU THE STAR AN APPSTAR

I want this to hit home for you today. You might be reading this knowing you’ve been putting yourself last. Maybe you’re coming out of a tough breakup. How to stay sane VTubing for a living! (From a full-time Vtuber and manager) 1 - Let people know you are in it full-time: Let your audience know this relies on their support without holding them hostage; Let them know you value their support, yes also to lurkers, yes also to people who can only be there for a few minutes a day. They are who made you. 2 - Be greatful: Don't whine about failures, celebrate the times you get back up. Nobody likes consistent negativity on their feed. Of course you can express when you are struggling, BUT consider building yourself AND your audience up, tons better for your MH. 3 - Budget properly: Yes, that new model or $300 background looks good, but surviving looks better, staying out of debt feels loads better. Keep aa 50-50 from your goals as a wage and only reinvest 50% of your VTuber stonks into VTubing, especially into projects that make very little back like music, skebs, etc. 4 - Be friendly, not a pushover: Risking your safety, mh, privacy is never worth it. Nobody should be making demands beyond the boundaries and timescale you set. Collab not comfortable for your schedule, don't do it. Friends pushing you to show your irl info, not your friends. Chat asking too much from you, you can give them a friendly no. It's your space, curate it to your needs. 5 - Work hard and reflect: Nobody wants to admit they have been lazy or could have done more, but sometimes it's good to admit to yourself that you were expecting too high a number for the content you put out. It sucks, but looking into your weaknesses as well as strengths is the only way to do better in the future. 6 - Make time: Don't spend 12h a day streaming when you get paid less than minimum wage per hour, stop burning yourself out for zero discoverability. Your time is better spend brainstorming and creating more off-stream content, looking at other streamers content and learning from those that came before you. Your time is so valuable, don't waste it. 7 - Finally: You are a person off-stream!!! Eat, drink, workout, socialize if you can. Have secrets. Have a life, friends and interests outside of stream. You don't need to share everything with your chat and community, and likewise you DON'T have to share your VTubing journey with your family if they don't need to know. If it's full-time, it's a job, there needs to be a step back at the end of the day, for your own sanity. Hope this reaches those that want to go full-time as a VTuber!!!

The new Product Page Header image in the App Store will not matter. First you need users to actually want to enter your App Store listing. And the reality is that a lot of users NEVER enter the listing. They search for something, see the app in the search results and download it directly from there. So the important update here is the new Search Results image. It's an app banner inside the App Store search results. And you should think about it as a persuasive ad. COPYWRITING will be what matters. Not the fancy "branding". Users are searching because they want an answer to something. Your creative needs to give them that answer immediately. And this becomes even more important with Apple Ads. You can pay to appear for the keyword, but your creative still needs to convince the user that your app is the answer they were searching for.

All of those people who constantly cry about “cancel culture” are at it again cancelling a company called Liberty Safe. This comes after they spent months trying to cancel Bud Light. These people will say, “but we are justified,” and they are not. That’s not how this works though. People boycott and “cancel” companies and people when they feel there is a justification to do it. It doesn’t mean that it has to be justified in your mind, but it is in theirs. It’s just so hypocritical to me when people attack others for canceling companies but they go ahead and do the exact same thing themselves. For those who aren't familiar with this story, the Liberty Safe company gave a passcode to the FBI so that they could access a suspected criminal's safe. There was a search warrant issued on the criminal's home where the safe was located. What do you think? Do you support cancel culture? Do you only support it when it’s in your best interest, or do you support it no matter who it is?

Now, when you open the app, you can rotate your phone and see exactly where your car is - live - with an arrow that shifts as you move. It also shows the precise distance to your car in feet, so no more wandering through parking garages like you’re in a low-budget spy movie. It’s basically Find My iPhone, but for your Model Y, and way more satisfying to use. If Tesla keeps adding features like this, the app is going to end up being more fun than the car itself. Introducing my new OSS framework: OhSnap provides really simple way to record and reproduce the data your users saw when encountering an issue (bug/crash), integration in your project should take a few minutes at most. Majority of bugs are related to data you have to deal with and often times we have to work with frequently changing data via network API's. Even if you have access to multiple environments (prod/staging/dev) it's still going to be PITA to reproduce a lot of bugs your user saw, since we often get to them a long time after the bug occured... OhSnap allows you to easily record any data your app downloads, pack it and put it on server so that you can replay it on your device later on, while connected to debugger and save hours of development time trying to figure out what exactly they experienced! Here's a demo of 2 app instances running, and me manipulating what server reply I'll be getting, there is 1 line of code needed to record and reply this data (outside of just setting up your framework). I built this so that I can show dev tool building process for the members of which I encourage you to join if you want to put your engineering efficiency at a different level😉

Imagine you go to a store and you want to buy candy. The shopkeeper knows you're a real kid because they can see you standing right there. Now imagine you send a robot to buy candy for you. The shopkeeper looks at the robot and thinks: wait, who sent this? Is this robot allowed to buy candy? What if someone else's robot pretends to be yours and steals your candy money? That's basically what's happening with AI right now. Companies like Visa let people buy things all over the world. But now, smart computer robots (AI agents) want to buy things too. Shop around, compare prices, even pay for stuff. Visa looked at this and said: nope, not yet. Because they have no way to check if the robot is real, who it belongs to, or if it's allowed to spend that money. The problem is that all the rules we have for checking identity - showing your ID, scanning your face, typing your password - only work for humans. Robots can't do any of that. Worse, bad robots can actually copy and fake human identities really well. So Evin McMullen evin, Billions Network co-founder and CEO, says we need a new kind of ID system. One where you can prove something is true without showing all your private stuff. Like proving you're tall enough for a ride without telling anyone your exact height. That's called zero-knowledge proof. And for the robots specifically, we need something called KYA - Know Your Agent. It's like giving every robot its own ID card that says: this is who I am, this is what I'm allowed to do, and this is the human responsible for me. After you put down the pen, you thanked your family. It was clear how proud you were and how much it meant to you to have them by your side. When Bas Tietema, Wim and I (Julia Soek) traveled to Spoltore for your farewell, we felt the warmth of your family and saw the beautiful Italian hills where you trained daily. The impact you left on the community is immense.
