I havent seen anything like that since the mower blade struck an ant nest.

If you aren't night flight certified, would you technically need to avoid totality?

Surprised all the eclipse photos are not full of navigation lights.

Looks like a butterfly migration.

I’m one of those dots! I had a ifr flight plan and waited 30 minutes for a release. ATC was refusing pop-up clearances and requests for flight following. Once I was about 100nm south of totality they started granting ff requests. Had a great view of the eclipse in KPBG.

That's pretty cool! Kind of like magnetic particles converging in momentary alignment.

I know Peter McKinnon did that one shot with a couple of planes overhead.
