I love that cast on. It gives it such a professional look and has more stretched to it.

That is a great looking cast-on method. I think I’ve seen it in one of my books before, so I’ll have to give it a try. I have problems sometimes with proper tension when casting on. Thank you for showing this!

How to start knitting a hat on a train where you are stuck for three hours because the flight got cancelled and you have to get to your friend’s wedding — a three act play. Sorry for the bad acoustics but Acela and I’m never able to travel without a knitting/needlepoint project plus a book to listen to or TV/movie to stream. While awake, always be hustling! Step one — cast on tubular knitting brim (stretchy/elegant/polished) Step 2 — double knitting the cast on — for that super stretchy flex Step 3 — knit/purl ribbing.

Two-color brioche cast-on (another hat!) For those of you bored by the knitting content — sorry! It’s the only type of commentary I’m posting at this time. Will change in the future. But if you like it, lmk and there will be more!

The sweater is then entirely hand-knitted using nothing more than two knitting needles. The body is knitted "on the round," which means it's one entire piece with no side seams. Designs typically feature traditional motifs, like snowflakes or eagles. YouTube ShawTVSouthVI

This was so fascinating. I had a teflon knitting needle on ishaan and charged it by rubbing with my Russian fur boots. Then I directed water droplets from a syringe towards the charged knitting needle and this is the resulting dynamics. The droplets, due to charge forces, go into a crazy orbit around the knitting needle. If planets were cylindrical this would be the orbit of its moons due to gravity. Canon G1 video camera, Expedition 30, 2012.

This tattooed guy in a white Ashgate Hospice t-shirt sits in a living room knitting with massive balls of green and yellow chunky yarn while two elderly people watch and smile from the couch behind him. He talks about his project then explainings how once a knitter always a knitter before showing the huge finished blanket and more clips of him working with the yarn. You watch a him turn giant yarn knitting into a charity project for hospice care that brings smiles to the residents. Do you think it is inspiring to see someone break stereotypes and use an unusual hobby to help others or do you say a guy covered in tattoos knitting giant blankets still feels out of place no matter how good the cause?

Let's start with producers. House of Blanks is the in-house label for Roopa Knitting Mills, an Ontario factory that has supplied the likes of Aime Leon Dore with quality sweats and t-shirts. Their sweats are hefty, but soft. Great value for price.

Going underground, going underground. Look at me driving the train right now, underground in London. How wonderful is this? Turns out that driving a train underground is easier than I thought. I may even do a bit of knitting while I do it.

A narrow miss at history. With a second-round 60, Scottie Scheffler comes just short of joining Jim Furyk as the only players with two sub-60 rounds on TOUR.
