Trainee IPS Shubham Agrawal currently posted as ASP Azamgarh ordering a constable to leave his lunch midway to report back to duty. The constable was stationed for the VIP duty ahead of MP CM Mohan Yadav's arrival in Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh.

Opinion alert: I am completely fine with senior officials taking necessary actions to enforce discipline in the rank. But this behaviour is unacceptable. The constable, visvily old, was humiliated in public and in front of his colleagues while he was having food. If there were 100 ways to deal with the situation, the trainee IPS chose the worst.

Life is quite hard for lower rank police constables ..

The IPS is perfectly alright. When police personnel are on duty, they can't leave their positions.

शिक्षा और शिक्षित होने में फर्क है। ये IPS अधिकारी महोदय ने यह जता दिया है कि लोग पढ़ लिख कर भी अशिक्षित हो सकते है। भगवान इन्हे सद्बुद्धि दे 🙏

It's not good to ask him to do so. They are always sacrificing festivals and family time just for our security. He might be hungry so he took a plate, nothing wrong with that.
