Yesterday, Labour’s Defence Readiness Minister claimed the Government would “increase our capabilities”. Today, the Head of the Armed Forces confirmed that he would have to cut back our military capability if Keir Starmer refuses to provide the funding needed to keep the country safe. This is why the Defence Secretary resigned. Britain needs a government prepared to cut welfare and fund defence. Only the Conservatives will do this.

"1:03 AM. Our camera caught Buddy sleeping with something that isn't even his... It's one of our son's old t-shirts, forgotten in the laundry pile weeks ago. We found Buddy curled around it on the couch, paw draped over it like he was protecting it. He sleeps with it almost every night now. He can't call his best friend. He can't check a phone to see when he's coming home. All Buddy has is a piece of fabric that still smells like him — and somehow, that's enough to bring him comfort. We didn't teach him to do this. I had a meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau where we discussed the implementation of the Peace Formula, military support for Ukraine, the situation on the battlefield, and the needs of our defenders. We deeply appreciate Canada’s military and humanitarian assistance, as well as its efforts to bring home Ukrainian children deported by Russia. I am grateful for standing with us in times of war and for continuing to be with us after it, after our victory.

"Last week my husband and I went to the shelter to adopt a baby. We had a plan. One puppy. That was it. But life had something else waiting for us. At the shelter, we met two tiny Presa Canario mix puppies who had just lost their mama in a tragic accident. They were so small… but somehow, they already understood what it meant to lose everything. We picked one up. And that’s when everything changed. She didn’t relax in our arms. She reached. Right for her brother. Her tiny paws wrapped around him like she was holding onto the only thing she had left in the world. And he… he didn’t hesitate. He buried his face into her neck, holding on just as tightly. No barking. No crying. Just quiet fear… and a bond that was impossible to ignore. Presa mixes are known for loyalty—but this? This was something deeper. This was survival. This was love. We looked at each other… and we knew. There was no way we were separating them. So we didn’t. We adopted both. This photo was taken on the ride home. BREAKING: Two U.S. Army soldiers and one civilian U.S. interpreter were killed, and three more wounded, during an attack in Syria. We still need more details, but I certainly hope this isn’t because the pentagon has been concentrating more on attacking civilian boats off of Venezuela and capturing immigrants in the United States, then protecting our military in Syria. Various reports have indicated that our military is unprepared because of our resources being spent in wasteful ways elsewhere. Rest in peace to all those involved.
