This needs to be talked about. In Kate’s newest TikTok, she talks about how Liam encouraged her to do social media, how she wanted to give up and he wouldn’t let her. Liam actively tried to stay off of social media and Kate wouldn’t allow him to, forcing him to be in her videos for the attention it gave her. Liam also mentioned that his team tried to push the TikTok wave onto him, but that he just didn’t want to do it. He openly spoke about how this caused tension. Kate then goes on to talk about how she took “about 8 months” off. She didn’t take an actual break. All she did was post less than she does now. Right after Liam passed away, Kate admitted that she deleted social media for about THREE DAYS. She said that she was “ashamed” because of how quickly she redownloaded TikTok. Her “8 month break” wasn’t an actual break; it was her posting ONLY Liam-related TikToks that centered around HER — not Liam himself. She never once spoke up in his defense, she never once tried to keep his legacy alive. That was just when she started making up lies after lies, contradicting herself, and being unable to keep track of her previous stories that she had already told. She immediately knew that she had to do something to keep her relevance and to keep her name attached to Liam’s. If she had taken a proper, REAL break, her money would’ve taken a big dip and she would’ve had to fly economy more than just once (oh no!). Not even a year after Liam died, Kate showed that she was out partying and drinking constantly, she was posting with several different guys every night. For historian Elizabeth Pryor, the N-word posed a quandary. On the one hand, her father, comedian Richard Pryor, used the word on stage as part of his routine. But he would also tell her when she was a child not to let anyone call her the N-word. "I just knew in my heart there was a difference between the word that he was trying to highlight and the racist word that I was called at school," she told PBS News' Geoff Bennett. "But it was hard to figure out." Elizabeth, a professor at Smith College, has spent much of her career studying the origins of the N-word. In her new book, "Something We Said: Richard Pryor, a Notorious Word, and Me," she examines how her father changed comedy and his relationship with the N-word. "He literally told me I had to punch somebody out if they ever call me the N-word," she said. Yet, he "also went up on stage, and he had a gold record that was on the wall, and it was, 'That N-word's crazy.' So it was hard to figure out, as was my dad in many ways, which is part of the story." This woman was trying to break into the fashion world. She and her photographer were going around NYC taking photographs that were bold and daring. She was in the process of taking this photo when a woman starts to yell at her about how she can’t work without looking out the window and seeing the young lady hanging onto the guard rail for a pose. She expressed she was worried she was going to fall. The young lady was more interested that the woman owns a magazine than she was about her own safety, she then proceeds to call her a Karen for their interaction. To me it seems like she was voicing honest concern, she wasn’t trying to cause an issue and it was in fact the actions of the young lady that was the cause of the distraction for those in the city that day. What is your take on this, was this a valid concern on the lady’s behalf?

Gia Giudice gave us a lot of insight into herself and her sisters, and how they’ve all navigated life on reality TV and the fame that comes with it. Before I get into what Gia said about each of her sisters, I have to note something I found interesting… Gia shared that she felt she had to step up on RHONJ and be there for her mom while filming, since her mom was left on her own after her dad, Joe Giudice went to prison. I am sure it’s something a lot of firstborns can relate to… feeling the need to take on a parental role, whether that’s for younger siblings or even for your own parents. Back to Gia and her sisters… Gia explained that growing up on the show, as the years went on, she and her siblings had more say in how much they wanted to be involved in that world. She says she and Milania are on the same page when it comes to social media and fame… they’re diving right in. Gabriella, on the other hand, is super private and has no interest in the attention; she’s thriving at the University of Michigan. And Audriana, the youngest, is still figuring it out… she’s somewhere in the middle. #RHONJ #RHOC
