Transformers: Devastation is a game that got so much right—especially the dialogue between Optimus Prime and Megatron. This is exactly the kind of epic exchange I expect when those two face off.

I really wish this game not only got a re-release but if we could somehow get playable boss characters. Tell me that wouldn't be legit awesome

Playing as Devestator or Menasor would be cool

It's one of there best interactions in tge franchise and I hope skybound is making there incarnations of tge characters the same olso these are the same guys who made metal gear rising revengeance so that makes sense

I love the notion of Megatron believing that biological beings don’t “count” as life because it *has* to come from mechanisms.

I know that Welker and Cullen aré old and must pass the mantle. But jesús Christ decades of their experiences voicing those two REALLY show. Incredibly emotional with a delivery that risks falling into cringe but never even grazes it.

That fight has better characterization than almost the entire rest of the franchise. The echo filter on their voices is too much but it’s perfect otherwise

this is the views I feel they should have permanently or at least more prominently armada,jg1,g2 and devestation have objectively the best optimus vs megatron moments out of the entire franchise I will die on this hill I love when they are true enemies no sap just pure opposites

This is one of my favourite games of all time and in my opinion THE BEST transformers game

They gave us so much sequel bait. Computron and Superion arriving on earth to help the autobots, Nova Prime waking up in The Proudstar, and an Optimus FUCKING Maximus tease only to never do anything with it. One day…

The fighting is like Dbz. The banter excellent. Peter Cullen is the goat.

It shows that Platinum made the game. It looks like a budget version of a Raiden-Armstrong duel, even music sound like it tries to evoke similar hype. Not complaining, rather curious how it actually plays, especially since their Legend of Korra game felt pretty bland.

So this is Metal Gear Rising Revengence but you play Optimus Prime instead of Raiden

I have nearly broken my control several times in this game. Fuck that combiners fight, Blitzwing end fight, and Megatrons fight. Not even joking I threw my controller across the room. Most raged out I ever been in a game
