Stop funding luxuries. Eg, the government spends too much money on fuel for unreasonable numbers of state officers' vehicles, stop the unnecessary renovations, and channel funds to where it can generate more taxes. Eg, subsidies in fuel would lead to increased productivity.

@JohnMbadiN stop all renovations, freeze salaries, suspend unnecessary travel, stop new projects, cap all nonessential expenditure... just stop the waste and the 1/3 of national budget theft through procurement 🤔 I can help you achieve that but arm 🤣😂

We all have to agree that CS John Mbadi is the best CS for Treasury we've ever had and the best thing that ever happened to President Ruto. Oburu once said that ODM did not only ring numbers but quality too in President Ruto's government. Mbadi is who Ndindi Nyoro thinks he is. We Luos are extremely talented and we always work to the greater good. Amazing.

On May 11th (see quoted tweet) he told us initial estimates showed that PAYE bands adjustments (zero rating for < Kes 30,000 & lower rate for Kes 30,000 - Kes 50,000) would translate into a Kes 35.0 billion worth of revenue forgone by the Exchequer.
