Trees and power lines down across the Scituate/Foster area as storms continue to roll through. Came across this large tree blocking Rt 116 near Old Scituate Ave while I was trying to get to another scene. Nobody injured here. Scituate PD and FD now blocking the road. WPRI 12

@wpri12 It appears that the storm knocked out power to the whole state. The “power outage map” is down too. I got a message by contacting Rhode Island Energy, that they are working on the problem, and the power will be restored today in my area in Rumford.

Final: Scituate 12, Falmouth 11 (OT) Willy Robinson scores his sixth goal with 3:22 remaining to send the Sailors to the D3 final. Powerful moment as Robinson, who lost his father — a Scituate assistant, Will — five days ago finds a way. What sports are all about. Amazing.

🚨#BREAKING: Watch as a Student gets blown over due to powerful severe storms while trying to get to the campus 📌#Lexington | #Kentucky Watch as a student gets completely blown over by the powerful severe storms while attempting to reach the University of Kentucky campus earlier this morning. This incident occurred in Lexington, Kentucky, during a tornado warning, with reports of winds gusting up to 70, possibly 100 mph. Significant damage has been reported across the Kentucky area, as straight-line winds, possibly embedded with a tornado, have knocked down numerous trees, power lines, and even flipped some cars while damaging homes and businesses. Multiple people are without power, and more dangerous weather is expected to pass through later today, with an increased threat of strong to intense, long-track tornadoes across much of the Ohio River and Tennessee Valley regions.

Multiple American homeowners in this community were growing trees One tree was a black sapote tree a resident grew for 20 years. Another was an avocado tree that was 10 years old Their HOA came and chainsawed the trees down and removed them It looks like because the trees were in a more common location and not directly on the property, the HOA had authority to come and cut them down, and they did This is why nobody likes HOAs
