I lived in an HOA of 50 homes in a very rural area of Tennessee. We formed a voluntary fire department, established a neighborhood watch, applied for federal grants for fire safety, held regular meetings with food and drink. One of the few that worked well.

I never knew they were called "tree coffins". I looked it up and it does say they can be very detrimental to your tree if not done correctly.
