Trent Bridge, 2013. Stuart Broad nicks it to slip. Given not out. Doesn’t walk. Australia lose their minds. 😳 By August, Darren Lehmann is on the radio saying he hopes Broad cries and goes home. Calls it cheating. Gets fined. The station pays the fine for him. 🤫 Then... show more

Well said 👏and by the end of Jan it was 5-0 Johnson’s ashes 🤣🤣

Once again this narrative is repated. Broad didn't nick it to slip. He nicked it to Haddin who couldn't take it. The ball deflected off Haddin's glove to slip. If Haddin had taken the catch and it still been given not out, it would hardly be remembered now.

That win confirmed England's dominance of the Ashes over a golden period, bring an incredible 4th win in just 13 series ... and England would continue with that solid platform of consistent success across the following 12 years, adding an amazing 1 more win in the next 7 series.

Broad's best performances were in the Ashes.

As usual Aussies can't tell the truth. He didn't nick the ball to slip. It went to the keeper. In his incompetence he diverted the ball to slip. You also foret to mention that Aus had used up their referrals to appeals that were obviously not out

As with Tim Paine's ""run out" of Johnny Bairstow Stuart Broad not walking was, although within the laws of the game, it was truly against the spirit of cricket.

They spent weeks making him the villain and he answered with a six for that ended the series.😭

A fired up Stuart Broad was a sight to behold.

Retired ashesless, fitting.

Broad nicked it to the keeper, not first slip

He didn’t nick to slip he nicked it to the keeper who deflected it to slip

Nah, he only cheats

Ahh Darren Lehmann calling others cheats. Mr Sandpaper…. Perfect.

You should always walk, unless you are playing Australia!

*nicked it to Haddin who dropped it to slip*

Australia spent weeks turning Broad into the villain and he answered with a six-for. 😂🔥 You couldn't write a better Ashes script.

Most underrated spell of broad 🔥

Australians criticising any batsman for not walking has to be the epitome of hypocrisy, or a monumental wind-up not meriting any response.
