Reducing accidents by penalizing slow driving trucks on overtaking lanes would have been a better and effective way. But alas, fining cars for driving fast on e ways was a easier task and made sure a steady stream of revenue.

First the police should strictly ensure that trucks & other heavy vehicles should move to the extreme left of the road which will make driving much easier & safer for other vehicles, can we expect this from the enforcing authorities @mepratap

People will be abruptly slowing down near the cameras, so there's a scope for rear ending, if someone is tailgating. Request everyone to follow safe following distances as per conditions to reduce risks even further. @NammaBengaluroo @anil_lulla

Good move Sir. But the key thing is- they should be immediately stopped and given the challan in sight of other drivers. That will discourage others from speeding. Challan delivered via SMS next day has very little impact.

Enforce speed limit, call it expressway, extort money in the name of toll 😉
