🐺🔥Animated static meshes inside Niagara… in UEFN. Using VAT (AnimToTexture) to drive a running wolf as a Niagara particle, fully working within UEFN validation. This took a bit to figure out, but it unlocks a lot of new possibilities for VFX and gameplay systems 👀 Comissions Open! 📩

I tried recreating the screen-attached flame post-process effect from Arknights: Endfield. It’s made with a pretty simple material! #vfx #UE5 #UE5Study #Material

Unreal Engine's built-in VFX system, Niagara, can be used to create cinematic effects that run completely in real-time. In this example focused on Automotive visualization, Jesse Pitela(Jesse Pitela) is layering thousands of GPU particles for snow flakes, meshes for ice chunks, and a Niagara Fluids smoke simulation on top, to show the car interacting with its environment❄️

#UE5 #vfx Wanted to solidify my understanding of ribbons in Niagara. I don't use those very often. I had a blast making those electric arcs connecting nearby particles tho. Niagara is da bomb. Time to clean it up and make a breakdown video.

Saw a couple of character trail effects recently, so wanted to try something using #Niagara mesh particles. Particle uploads bone transforms used by material for skinning vertices. #UE5

Since the Niagara foam is just regular GPU particles, you can color them by speed to get a simple 'bioluminescence' effect. This is a quick bonus lesson I added to Niagara Liquids.

Pseudo Fluid Dissolve I just came up with this kind of smooth dissolve method. It's still a little obvious that it's not a simulation though :( #UE5 #Niagara
