Our house help in Bengaluru has been mauled by a dog (which has a history of biting people and yet the owner allowed it to loiter in the streets). The rich owner had 'paid for the treatment' like she did for another teenager a month ago. The sad thing is that people are too nice here. If this was some other place, the dog would have been forcibly euthanised (which I would wholeheartedly support) and the owner thrashed (which I won't oppose either). The entitlement of rich doggy papas and mothers are crossing all semblance of tolerance. I am not in Bengaluru else this woman wouldn't get away this lightly

Lack of awareness. Even many educated urban people don’t know that once rabies develops, it's 100% fatal. This ignorance is even more in rural areas. He probably thought the puppy bit out of fear. People tend to take puppy bites less seriously than dog bites. When I was a kid, I was in my ancestral village for summer holidays. A dog bit my right hand. My chachi-ji filled the wound with mirchi and haldi, the standard village treatment back then, saying, “Theek ho jayega.” Luckily, two days later, my father came to pick us up and take us back to Gwalior (where he was posted and we were studying). He found out about the bite and immediately took me to a clinic, where vaccination was started. Awareness in villages has improved now, but there’s still a long way to go.

The stray dog population in India, estimated at around 6.5 crores and India accounts for 36% of global rabies deaths. And none of the state governments have taken any initiative to fix this problem.

Mexico showed that with will, awareness, and vaccination, rabies can be eliminated. India has the tools but lacks urgency. It's time we stop normalizing preventable deaths, human life deserves more than silence.

Mexico solved this years ago. We’re still debating if it’s even a problem.

While walking through a cemetery, a young boy came across a filthy stray dog whose thick, matted fur had completely covered its eyes. Unable to see properly, the dog spun in circles before slowly approaching him, as if begging for food. Put off by its appearance, the boy walked away. The next day, he saw the dog again near the cemetery. It was gentle, familiar with the area, and kept searching everywhere following scents and looking around, only to end up disappointed every time. Other stray dogs bullied it, yet it refused to leave. A local woman then shared the heartbreaking truth. About two and a half years earlier, an elderly man had rescued the dog when it was just a tiny puppy. The two became inseparable. When the old man passed away and was buried in that cemetery, the loyal dog began an endless vigil, returning every day in search of the only person it had ever loved. With no one left to care for it, the dog gradually became dirty, severely matted, and neglected but it never lost its gentle, loving nature. Ashamed of how he had judged the dog at first, the boy returned with food and water. But the dog showed little interest, as though its heart still belonged to its late owner. Fearing it wouldn't survive much longer, the boy decided to take it home and give it a second chance. At the veterinary clinic, the dog was found to be only mildly malnourished. Removing the thick, tangled mats took two and a half hours of careful work, yet the dog remained calm and patient throughout the entire process despite the discomfort. After its bath and grooming, a sweet little dog finally emerged from beneath all that neglected fur. In the end, the loyal dog found the loving home it had always deserved. ❤️

This is excellent ~ callous Dog owner who left her Dog in a hot car gets called out in the best way! Well done officer👮 👏. The police officer called her “callous”. She called what he did “abusive”, but when the woman who admitted to leaving her Dog in a hot car called a news station to complain, she ended up with a dose of karma instead. KOB News investigated what happened and after the woman asked the news channel to look into her complaint against the officer, saying that he forced her to sit in the hot car she had left her Dog in. But the news channel discovered that the officer had a label pin video recording the entire time and it tells a different story. Officer Vincent Kreischer noticed a Dog inside a parked truck at a grocery store’s parking lot in Truth or Consequence, New Mexico, with the temperatures outside of over 90 degrees Fahrenheit and confronted the owner. The woman told him she only left the Dog for 10 minutes, and began to argue with him about how hot it really was. But Officer Kreischer estimated that inside the vehicle would be 114 degrees (45.5 C) after that length of time. When he confronted her, he says she shrugged it off with a laugh and was “callous and carefree” about her dog’s welfare. That’s when he took action. He decided to write her a ticket, and asked her to wait in her car is since, according to her, it wasn’t that hot. “You can wait in the truck and close the door you know, since it’s not that hot,” he responded. Kreischer observed, “She gives me an attitude from word one, and then she doesn’t want to close the door. So I’m like, ‘Oh, but it’s OK if your Dog does.'” In the end, the officer's simple lesson spoke louder than any argument: if you wouldn't sit in a sweltering parked car, your dog shouldn't have to either.

🚨 The Supreme Court of India’s bold move to round up Delhi’s stray dogs is a long-overdue response to a deadly crisis—35,000+ dog bites in 2025 alone, kids dying of rabies, a 100% fatal disease! Yet, here come the animal activists, marching on the streets, crying for “dog rights” while ignoring the blood of human victims. Delhi’s 10 lakh strays terrorize communities, maul infants, and spread fear, but these so-called compassion warriors clutch their pearls over dogs being sheltered, sterilized, and vaccinated. Where’s this outrage when human lives are at stake? Why is it always animals over people? The court’s order for shelters, CCTV monitoring, and a helpline is a practical step to save lives, but activists call it “cruel” while kids’ bodies pile up. Shame on you for prioritizing strays over human safety Meanwhile, these same activists and their politician pals stay silent on the real epidemic: gender-biased laws like the Domestic Violence Act, IPC 498A, and Dowry Act, which have crushed innocent men for decades. Men are dragged through courts, jailed, and ruined by false accusations, with no due process, no fairness—laws that spit on Articles 14, 15, 19, and 21 of our Constitution guaranteeing equality and justice. Where are the marches for these men? Where’s the academic outcry for their rights? These hypocrites scream for “justice” for dogs but turn a blind eye to men’s suffering. Apparently, a stray’s “freedom” to bite and kill is worth more than a man’s life destroyed by a vindictive ex-wife’s lies. This selective morality is a disgrace—dogs over humans, every time! I love dogs too, but let’s not pretend this stray dog menace isn’t a public health disaster. Rabies kills 60,000 globally, and India’s 36% of that toll is a national shame. The Supreme Court’s directive isn’t about cruelty—it’s about saving kids, elderly, and families from a preventable plague. Activists whining about “inhumane” shelters conveniently ignore the chaos of dogs fighting, starving, or dying on streets. If you love dogs, adopt them! Fund shelters! But don’t lecture us on “rights” while children die and men suffer under unjust laws. These activists and academics need to stop their virtue-signaling nonsense and face reality: human lives matter more than your sanctimonious dog-saving crusade. Wake up, India—protect people first, not strays #straydogs

The USDA Has Approved Self Amplifying mRNA Injections For Dogs & Cats—With Zero Long Term Testing & No Public Warning. Nobivac NXT Rabies, Flu & Leukemia Vaccines. Turbo Replicating Virus Cells Harming Pets & Shedding Onto Humans. Merck Intervet 'Safety Studied' Only 14 Days. Merck has launched a new rabies vaccine called Nobivac NXT, now rolling out across North America. It uses self-amplifying RNA (saRNA) technology, similar to what we saw with the Covid vaccines — but now in our animals. This lab-created RNA replicates inside the body. Once injected, it produces rabies virus proteins that trigger the immune system — and this RNA spreads throughout the body, including vital organs & the brain. The long-term effects? Completely unknown. *⃣ Side effects...aggression, excess salivation, seizures, death, paralysis, vertigo. *⃣ No independent long-term safety studies. *⃣ No transparency. *⃣ Research conducted by Merck’s own Intervet — not peer-reviewed or publicly available. *⃣ 38 dogs & cats were used for 'experimental study' & 35 were euthanized at end of study period. We’ve seen what can go wrong with fast-tracked RNA technology in humans. Now it’s being pushed onto our pets. *⃣ Why the rush? Rabies isn’t a widespread crisis in the West. Canine rabies has been effectively eliminated since 2007. Less than 10 human rabies cases annually in the US. Let’s not gamble with our pets’ health. *⃣ Summary: Until we have real, independent, long-term safety data, this RNA vaccine should not be blindly accepted. Let’s protect our animals with informed decisions. Watch out for Nobivac NXT mRNA self amplifying vaccines in widespread circulation: Nobivac NXT Canine Flu # H3N2 Vaccine Nobivac NXT Feline FeLV Leukemia Vaccine Nobivac NXT Rabies Vaccine This is just the beginning. My neighbor always walks the dog at all hours of the day, rain or shine. She has a huge dog she can’t control, it actually walks her most of the time. This guy here has no excuse letting his dog on a leash get away, that thing is tiny. Yet he thinks it’s the man’s fault that his dog got nudged. What would you do if your neighbors dog got loose and they blamed your dog reacting to it, he needs to get his dog under control and get a life. Anyways, the neighbor with the big dog was walking her dog and it got away from her and ran into the street. Another neighbor was coming home from work and didn’t have time to react to it, she ended up hitting the dog causing a good amount of damage to her car and scuffing up the dog pretty good. The lady walking her dog had a fit of course and blamed the neighbor for hitting her dog. The neighbor retorted that she wouldn’t have hit it if the lady had it under control and isn’t run into the street. The lady ended up calling the cops, the cops came and cleared the neighbor of wrong doing. There were plenty of witnesses that saw it and we all see the dog pulling her all the time anyways. After the accident we didn’t see the lady walking her dog much anymore, her oldest son would do it most of the time to his annoyance but it was a better thing, he could control it where as his mother could not. I didn’t want to involve myself in their argument but I did tell the lady it was her fault, and that she needs to pay for the other neighbors car. Up until that point she was refusing to cooperate much. I never did ask if she paid but I have a feeling she did, the neighbor can be quite convincing when she needs to be.
