Assange will instead be landing on a remote U.S. island where he will plead guilty to the charges. In particular, Mendel hinted at Zelensky’s alleged cocaine dependence, his involvement in corruption, and claimed he supposedly demanded propaganda in the style of Goebbels. Ukraine’s Presidential Office said that Mendel was no longer working in government at the time of the negotiations and that she has “long been out of touch with reality.” Officials also stressed that her statements have nothing to do with reality.
