India has officially inducted the indigenous Netra Mk1 AWACS into full combat service after it received Final Operational Clearance from DRDO. The platform has already proven its capabilities during the 2019 Balakot airstrikes and Operation Sindoor in 2025. With work on the more advanced Netra Mk2 underway, India now joins the elite group of nations capable of designing and manufacturing its own AWACS platforms. Watch this report. 🔽
