Tron: Legacy (2010) creates a vibe no other sci fi has really replicated. The Grid feels endless, like there’s a whole digital civilization stretching beyond whatever the camera shows. It’s immersive in a way that sticks.

Dune (1984) gets written off, even by Lynch, but the film’s worldbuilding is doing its own thing. Baroque sets, strange textures, and a future that feels alien in a way few sci-fi films even attempt. It’s rough, but there’s nothing else like it.

Yuvan has a very deeply buried sadness in him There’s no other real explanation for it It’s the way his music hits you way too personally and creates that lump in your throat feeling.

The Lightcycle scene in Tron: Legacy (2010) is pure audiovisual adrenaline. Daft Punk’s score fuses with the neon chaos of the Grid and turns a chase sequence into a full blown electronic opera. Absolute sensory overload in the best way.

Tron (1982) 35mm trailer It didn’t just predict the digital age...it created the visuals for it. First major film with extensive CGI, light cycles racing through a virtual grid, and a world inside the computer. Decades ahead of VR, the metaverse, and our entire digital lives. Pure visionary sci-fi.

That arena fight in Tron: Legacy (2010), the discs cutting through the dark, bodies moving in sync with that Daft Punk score, and the whole thing just locks into a rhythm you don’t forget.

Tron: Legacy (2010) is remembered less for its plot than for how it sounds. Daft Punk turn the Grid into a feeling, locking image and music so tightly that the score becomes the film’s spine.

Predestination (2014) has one of the craziest twists ever pulled off in a sci-fi film. The deeper the movie goes, the more impossible it feels to predict where it’s heading until everything finally clicks into place in the most absurd way imaginable.

SPACE: ABOVE AND BEYOND (1995) was doing military sci fi with the intensity of a war drama, then got cancelled after one season. It feels like the kind of show that would have found a much bigger audience if it had arrived in the streaming era.

I love this about WuWa, they're not scared to make big shifts with the vibe of the game. Each region feels like you're in a completely different game. 1.0~Post-apocalyptic,edgy 2.0~Fantasy Italy 3.0~Sci-Fi, solarpunk And also these openings completely encapsulate that vibe.

Speaking from experience, there’s no other sport that creates a connection between fathers & sons like baseball does. It’s what the game does…love every second of this clip.

Strange Days (1995) is a brutal, immersive vision of the future that still feels ahead of its time. Ralph Fiennes is electric, and Angela Bassett owns every frame she’s in. One of the great underseen sci-fi films of the ’90s.

THE ADVENTURES OF BRISCO COUNTY, JR. (1993) feels like a show that arrived a decade too early. Bruce Campbell, westerns, steampunk, comedy, sci fi and a giant rolling ball of weirdness.

This isn’t retro sci-fi. It’s controlled stillness. Inspired by 1980s European sci-fi comics (Moebius, Metal Hurlant) I kept the animation restrained: locked camera, no bloom, no motion blur, no cinematic exaggeration. Then I layered it with an industrial synth track. Dark. Electric. Addictive. The visuals stay calm. The sound destabilizes everything. The friction between them creates something new. Static between image and emotion. 👉 Tomorrow I’ll explain to my subscribers how to create a video like this.

Oblivion (2013) deserved way more appreciation than it got. The M83 score, the clean sci-fi production design, Tom Cruise slowly realizing his entire existence is built on a lie. Feels like an old-school science fiction movie in the best way.

There’s something special about a father and son sharing the screen together. 🎬Will Smith and Jaden Smith in After Earth showed how family chemistry can bring extra emotion to a story, beyond the action and sci-fi.
