Middle Infielders, the "Power Feed" is Quick, Effective, & Easy to learn. Dominate it! 3 Keys: 1) Time the catch with the step, 2) Work the thumb underneathe and 3) Finish high! Massey (MLB-Royals) Loftin (MLB-Royals) Knapczyck (MiLB Guardians) 6TN🌎BetterEveryday

We challenge our infielders daily so that the difficult hop becomes routine! My feeds here are steep and firm, simulating a hard hit chopper. A play where the infielder has no choice other than to "Commit to Kill," the "Short-Inbetween Hop" by moving through it with both their feet and glove. 6TN🌎BetterEveryday

We prioritize the 2 most difficult hops for infielders, with the goal to make all plays routine. Once a player has established a strong foundation of skills, our work ratio is 80/20. 80% in-between hops & 20% short & long hops. BetterEveryday 6TN🌎 Player: Judah shirlen

"Play Progressions" are one of the best ways to develop "Game Ready Infielders!" The Test Never Changes," which means both amateur and MLB infielders have to make the same plays and here we see a High School SS training with an MLB All Star, making the same plays with excellence. I work with a lot of infielders that do not understand the speed of the game and the internal clock you must have. 1st ball SS slows his feet which slows the arm down and almost throws ball away. 2nd ball doesn’t make the same mistake. They practice at a certain speed, which translates to the game. Every line time in this video is under 4.4. Put your infielders on the stop watch at practice. Challenge them to be under or at a certain time. Start at 4.5 and work down. Call out every time so they know if they are rushed or have time. The internal clock is one of the most important parts an infielder can have!!

Infielders spend the least amount of time working on plays in the forehand lane and this is why we see so many errors in the mlb on balls hit to infielder's left. The 5 hop drill is a great foundational drill that teaches infielders how to dominate the 5 different hops on plays to their left. Judah shirlen

Here we see an elite high school and middle school infielder using the momentum of the ball to set up both the catch and the throw. We refer to this skill as “Riding it’Out!” Note: how the ball never stops. BetterEveryday 6TN🌎 @stingersportsgear Jaeger Sports

The Trosky 5 Hop Drill was created out of necessity due to the amount of fielding errors related to the inability to 1st recognize hops & 2nd the inability to coralate foot-work & glove-work with the specific hop & play. One of the best drills for infielders at all levels! Athletes: Bobby Witt Jr Michael Massey Cole Koeninger Get more:

We hear talk about the ZONE but few infielders live there. How do you get there? How do you stay there? DCBA is the mental progression of the ELITE, a simple system that will change your game! 6TN🌎GYMR ⁦Jaeger Sports⁩

Awesome infield cheetah mentality here from Trosky at ABCA talking about putting infielders on a time constraint during practice. One of the things he does working with Bobby Witt Jr.

“Your bat angle should come from underneath your shoulder, not above.” The hands stay above the ball, the barrel works down the back. Think of a clock and the hands being the pivot point. Barrel starts at 12 o’clock. #gritnj
