When asked if she supported Senator Tim Kaine’s War Powers Resolution to stop a war with Iran, we expected Senator Duckworth to just say “yes”, as this is what most Democratic senators are doing. Instead, she ignored the question, then accused us of being “a group supported by China.” This is what happens when politicians would rather deflect than debate. Calling for peace is not harassment. Regime change is not our decision. We learned that the hard way in Iraq and Afghanistan - I fought in both of those wars. We ended up there for a long time in a war we didn’t understand. Regime change can only come from one place: the people of Iran. But let’s be clear - we may not be at war with Iran, but they are at war with us. I support Israel’s strikes fully and hope they are successful in debilitating Iran’s military.
