Trump is throwing out American democracy and installing competitive authoritarianism — just as his handlers Putin and Xi want. Masked men at polling places. Crying election fraud before votes are even cast. And tonight, more fear and doubt will be cast on our democracy. Do not bow to this...

The American people do not want authoritarianism. They want democracy. Too many Americans have put their lives on the line to defend our Constitution and our freedoms. We’re not going to let Trump and his fellow Oligarchs take it away from us.

With Joe Biden’s leadership, our NATO partnership is stronger and more unified than ever. The contrast between our President who rallies allies for Democracy and his predecessor who cozies up to Putin could not be more stark. Democracy must and will prevail — here and abroad. -NP

Schiff: Between now and November, the President will make every effort to discourage Americans from voting. He will make it harder to register and turn out. He may send ICE agents to polling places to intimidate our citizens. He will cast doubt on the results when his party loses. Our response must be to work harder, organize better, turn out higher than ever before. We must view every obstacle placed in our way as a challenge to be overcome with resilience, with defiance, as a gauntlet throw down that we must pick up. The fight for our democracy is a fight worth having, for it is democracy that makes all progress possible, and it is a struggle we can win if we pick up the tools we have been given and finish the job.

The intimidation is the point, and Michiganders will not be intimidated out of free and fair elections. This request for Wayne County's 2020 ballots is based on discredited allegations. It's another attempt by President Trump to cast doubt on our elections before the midterms.

We’re almost to the election. Remember, American democracy works, but sometimes it takes a little while. Not having results on election night is not a sign of fraud. And please be mindful – our adversaries are spreading lies online. Be on guard for misinformation.

Mitch Landrieu to United For Democracy: "Not only do they want to create a system where you can't vote, they want to take away votes that have already been cast. The message is loud and clear: they will not be stopped, at least not judicially."

Project 2025 is a threat to our democracy. We will not let Donald Trump and his Extreme MAGA Republicans inflict their dangerous agenda on the American people.

In 2020, Donald Trump and his allies sued 43 times to try and throw out your votes. He went 0-43. We had a free and fair election then – and make no mistake: we will continue to protect our democracy and do so again in 2026.

Kinzinger: In 250 years of American history, going through ups and downs, it leads us to this finite moment right here. All of these things have been put on different generations. All we are being asked to do is stand up and say we will not back down in defense of our democracy. All we are being asked to do is stand up for veterans and say they are more important than tech oligarchs, they are more important than people who want to use the government to make a billion dollars, veterans are the backbone of this country. That's why this is important because ladies and gentlemen, this is not left versus right, this is not even Republican versus Democrat, this is freedom and democracy and support for our veterans against those who don't appreciate it and those who would seek authoritarianism in our country and we will say no to that and loudly

Geoff Duncan: Georgia is the front lines of election integrity, it's the front lines of democracy. Donald Trump wants to try to destroy our elections so he can try to win these elections for him and and his cast of characters. We're not going to let it happen.

TRUMP: “This day will go down in infamy and Joe Biden will be forever remembered as not only the most corrupt president in the history of our country but perhaps even more importantly the president who together with a band of his closest thugs, misfits and Marxists tried to destroy American democracy.”

Alexei Navalny was murdered for daring to speak out against Putin’s barbaric regime. This is a horrific reminder of the threat Russia poses to freedom and our way of life. Putin will stop at nothing to undermine our values and those who speak for freedom and democracy. Britain and our allies must stand firmly against Russia’s murderous authoritarianism and stark aggression.

.Attorney General Todd Blanche: "We're focused on providing accountability and restoring trust in our elections. In the weeks and months ahead, there will be more accountability as we continue to uncover fraud across the country. These cases are complex to investigate, but election law is clear, and our democracy rests on the ability to ensure that those legally allowed to vote in American elections are the only ones that do so. This is not a partisan issue, but one that affects ALL American voters."

Donald Trump is accumulating more and more power into his own hands. He is usurping Congress and challenging the courts in a way that has never been done before. This country is the longest standing democracy on earth. We cannot let Trump to take us into authoritarianism.

Position on complaints received from polling agents and voters at various polling stations of PK 82 during the election. The Election Commission and its officials are not cooperating with our team, hindering the path to transparent elections. Voter turnout needs to be closely monitored. Workers should cast their votes in every circumstance. #Election2024 #PK82 #GE2024 #Peshawar #PTI
