Homeowners shelter at least 40 people fleeing black friday shooting 👏❤️ Martin Garcia was cooking dinner Friday night when two terrified girls rang the doorbell. Confused but wanting to help, he let them in. And the people behind them. And the ones behind them. Before long, a steady stream of about 50 people were sheltering at the family’s house near Westfield Valley Fair. He had no idea there just had been a shooting that injured three people. “My next thought was that they needed help,” he said. “I just let them in, and then, oh my God, look at all these people running. I need to talk about this 🥺 The fact that, even knowing they would be leaving early for their fan meetings in Frankfurt and Spain, WilliamEst still took the time to plan and prepare matching outfits for Outing… And even though they knew they’d be spending an entire week together afterward, they still didn’t leave each other’s side during it. What I love most is the way they keep choosing each other. Not because they have to, but because they want to. They already spent outing together, they were about to work and travel together, and yet they still decided to fly to Frankfurt early just to enjoy a full day before work. Then, with the few free days their schedules allowed, they turned them into a little vacation in Spain. But my favorite part is that none of this was meant to replace outing. Showing up there together, in matching outfits, was never up for discussion. It had to happen, because that’s their tradition. They’ve been doing this since 2024, even when some people weren’t happy to see them together. They still chose to match. They still chose to show up as a pair. Because to them, it mattered then, and it still matters now.

Some souls are so beautiful because they are brave. They see the pain carried by their parents, they understand where the decay began and how it spread - still, they do their best not to let it rot them from within. There are those who have been hurt by their parents, yet still love them, not because their parents were perfect but because they choose to love what is imperfect and to honour the origin point of a part of themselves. Yet many carry immense guilt even in admitting their parents failed them. Their compassion is so great that they hold themselves back from facing the full weight of the truth they deserve, always one step removed, always at arm's length, unable to let it land because of that guilt. But the body remembers. The truth is, both can be true. You can despise the decay and pain that has been unleashed upon you without guilt and honour your own suffering, your own journey - at the same time, you can acknowledge how your parents came to be as they are, through the weight of their own unhealed and unresolved pain. Similarly, those who feel immense resentment and hate towards their parents often find, in the quiet moments before they fall asleep, that a part of them still longs to connect - a subtle whisper of desire always remains, because they carry hope. Hate is just corroded love, it is not indifference. It is love unresolved and suspended, pooled like still water. The most heartbreaking part is that they feel disgust, sometimes even hatred, towards themselves for wanting this. Yet no matter how much they rationalise, a part of them will always long for it. And it is okay to want this. It does not make them weak or pathetic. The polarity must be felt in full, and then accepted in its entirety, on both ends. A woman and her husband went to the store to get an Apple gift card for $100. After they got it, they had tried to use it for their iPhone. The opened the package and got the card out, the last few digits on the back of the card are missing and she couldn’t use it. She goes back to the store and speaks to customer service about a refund. Customer service claims they can’t do anything about it because there are no refunds on gift cards and they need to call the company the card is for. She then pulls a few of the same cards off of the display and opens them in front of customer service and proves to them that they all have the same issue. This does look like the card was manufactured defectively and the customer service rep acknowledged it, but why are they leaving it on the shelf for other people to buy it and be ripped off?

These two guys were on their way to their fishing spot. They came to a stop sign at the same time as this bicyclist and blew through his stop sign and didn’t stop. When the men passed him they yelled at him for not stopping. So this guy followed them to their fishing spot. The two men exchange pleasantries and the guy on the bike tells them he never stops and they shouldn’t be yelling at him or anyone. The one man tells him he is just like everyone else and he has to obey the traffic laws. At one point the guy on the bike tells the two men he can take them both in a fight. The one man walks off to go fishing. 😳 The guy on the bike does not have the right of way. Bicyclists are like automobiles and must follow all traffic laws. Biker fatigue is real. 💯 So who do you side with? Who is the real moron? 🤔
