Angus: Canada is reconsidering that relationship with China. Why? Because we can no longer trust the United States. And we know that we have maybe 150, maybe more, Canadians in custody at ICE detention centers without the rule of law. Well, we had two Canadians under Chinese custody and it caused a huge outcry. We now have over 150 in the United States. So when the prime minister is talking about us needing to rethink our trade relationships and our strategic relationships, the fact that we’re now willing to entertain relations with the authoritarian government in Beijing shows that we can no longer maintain those relationships with the United States.

This seems like a win/win for the United States and for Ukraine. I would applaud Trump if he takes Zelensky up on his offer. "My answer was to Trump. Take 300 bln of frozen Russian assets. We will take it. Take money, what we need for our interior production, and we will buy all the weapons from the United States. We don’t need gifts from the United States." Help the US economy, help Ukraine defend themselves, and end the war. Trump can do this. Republicans can do this.
