Illegal immigrants must be documented, in order to ensure that their presence is known and are easily traceable, if needs be. It is in the interest of national security to do so. Illegal immigrants are here, they keep coming, and will keep coming regardless of threats of deportations because borders are porous. Home Affairs has no capacity and competence to stop illegal immigration as proven by the Sky News footage attached. The solution to combat illegal immigration, which we all oppose, is to document these people. Documentation does not mean granting citizenship nor permanent residency status, because I know that is what xenophobic morons will think. Grant them temporary and renewable permits, with conditions.
