"Well, my two wins at Augusta are very different. 1985 was my first one. I actually changed my whole set of irons after two rounds and I usually don’t have a back-up set of irons but I probably ordered one for the future and I thought well bring them to Augusta and hit them and see how they go. Here is the moment when I see my hand for the first time. I was pretty shook honestly. I then felt sadness come over me. I felt weird for the rest of the day and found myself avoiding even looking at it. After doing a training session I found the strength and confidence to look at it again and took a photo I will share with you on slide two. It’s going to take sometime to get used to this. But today I feel much better and excited that it is out of the cast. I’m not allowed to do anything with it yet, but I am moving my fingers and that’s big progress. I have to say Dr Donaldson did an incredible job and I am so happy I have a path forward. I just want to be open how that path feels. I am focused on the opportunity I have ahead and I am motivated for this new challenge. But it did hit me how different my hand looks, and even how it looks nothing like it feels. Going to take sometime before I am comfortable with this. However, I know I did not choose the comfortable path. Instead I chose the winning one. Just like sport, to win in your personal race it requires overcoming massive adversity.

More moves to AI-first living. Got the Genspark browser that just came out. One thing I notice is that I like having separate browsers working on different tasks. I'm not a big user of MCPs, since I'm not really a developer. Are you? They have a store of a bunch of MCPs available to use. Most of my AI work is research related, or answering emails and scheduling things, I'm focusing more of my effort there. Genspark has been shipping a ton of stuff the past few weeks, from ability to make slides to a new AI secretary that can schedule things, or help you answer your emails. First I looked at, "does it make sense to move over to this new way of working?" The problem with that is you gotta learn a new browser. Well, it looks like Google Chrome, except it has a prompt window. Click the icons underneath it and you will see you can add X, Notion, Google stuff like calendar and gmail, or a variety of others. But the real power is just talking to it. I asked it what kinds of tasks it can do, and it answered: "Just tell me what you want to accomplish! For example: "Research the latest developments in spatial computing and create a presentation" "Analyze my Gmail for any important emails from this week" "Find information about AI robotics companies and create a spreadsheet" "Generate a video about emerging tech trends" "Help me plan a trip to CES 2026" And so further into AI-first living I go. Tomorrow is my 57th birthday. I love being exactly this age. I don't care what people think of me. I say what I want to say. I do what I think is right. It took a few draggings across the internet, a high profile cancellation, and a great husband to help me get here. Yes, it absolutely sucked to be vilified for exposing abuse in gymnastics, to be the first person willing to tell the truth about the cruel and abusive training environment. Ten years of being berated and reviled by the people I trained with, by the governing body for the sport, by other leaders in the sport around the world ... well, it was not for the faint of heart. But their lies about me only strengthened my resolve. I knew it had to be even worse than I experienced for them to come for me so hard. And I was right. There was Larry Nassar. Yes, it absolutely sucked to lose a career I'd spent over 30 years building because I said schools should open during covid. The harassment and brutal attacks were even worse this time. But I'd trained for it - to stand my ground. To stand up for children. And I was right then too. And now I've chosen a difficult path. To start a new brand, in my 50s. A brand that truly stands up for female athletes, for fair competition. For biological reality. But we're doing it. We're making an impact. And building a brand. I do what some tell me I should not do - because I think it is the right thing. It took me a long time to get here. I'm not going back. Hwasa sunbaenim mentioned #SUNGCHAN in her recent live " There's a story behind it. And thankfully, RIIZE's Sungchan-ssi took the time for this, so I was really grateful. On the way to film that day, I kept thinking, "Is there something fun that would suit well with Sungchan-ssi?" Then suddenly I thought, "What if Sungchan-ssi comes out of my bag? How cute would that be?" So this is kind of funny. I asked the manager on the way if we could stop by somewhere like Daiso to buy some paper that could be used as a black background and we hurriedly stopped by. But there wasn't any. They only had small ones, so we were like, "Ah, then this won't work… should we just go?" and headed off. When we got there, we went to a certain floor at SM, and it turned out that floor was empty that day. So we asked if we could take a look around the place, and while looking, there was a black curtain there. So the manager said, "I think it'll work if we take this down." So we took it down and asked, "Sungchan-ssi, could you try going in here for a moment?" But he was so kind, Sungchan-ssi. Even though I was the one asking for a favor, right there on the spot he immediately said, "Ah, of course!" so I was really thankful. p.s: a long read but worth. love it every time taynew talk about their relationship dynamic, can literally sit all day long hearing the whole thing ♡ 💬 Did Hin told Te beforehand about cheek-to-cheek or Tay just got attacked by Hin? 🐳 No discussion before, Hin just did it. You guys must be know my personality and Hin’s personality well already. I’m the type who— how do I say it, I have to think before doing. Here’s the thing, I just took Enneagram course. Before, it was just self-taught and I knew my type, but after meeting this guru and got to dive in deeply, turns out I’m actually the type I never thought of before. As well as New. These Enneagram types are truly something we should study super deeply because it can shift depends on wings and arrows point that show in stress or relaxed situation, but finding our real true type is so difficult to find. I got Type 5, which the knowledge type, I’d feel less secure when I think my knowledge is not enough. I’ve always thought I was Type 9, the peacemaker, turns out I’m Type 5. So what I’m trying to say is, we have completely different personalities, New is the jumper one. He doesn’t like doing lot of practice, you know, doing the same thing over and over. He’s that, “Don’t put too much thought into it, just do it.” which actually can be a good side of him at some point. He won’t think much and let his instinct works. I’d say that both of our personalities got its own good and bad side. New can use his intuition, more realistic, you know, he can be a thing the way he wanted it to be—I can’t find the right words. But that’s not how I am, I tend to use my head too much, which actually can be an obstacle for my profession at some points. I won’t be able to jump when at one point I have to jump, because I’m too afraid of my unpreparedness and feel less secured. My head needs it to be structured about what to do for me to have a courage to do it. Instead, New will be like, “Like this and this, ok let’s do it.” As I said, these two personalities has its own good and bad side to be working in this industry. Thus, in growing up we have to adapt and pick each other good side to fulfill what we lack of. I have to learn how to jump, New has to learn how to be more structured and secured. I have to learn to think less, because after thinking much, in the end it never really give good results anyway. Every single time, I always do it better during practice than the real performance because I think too much. This is such a really bad side for someone who uses their head too much. For New, he always do it better in the real performance than practice, every single time. But “Faak Jai” is maybe the first performance I think I did it (better on real day). At that time, I tried to think the way New did, to focus on the present, and I’m proud of myself to can actually do it. It’s probably my first time ever since working in this industry to actually feel that kind of feeling. So about the cheek-to-cheek, yeah I think this is the perfect dynamics of TayNew, how I’m the overthinker one, while Hin always doing things not under control. Like, it’s a mix of well-prepared and spontaneity in both of us together. For example, if it’s New alone, it won’t look that smooth and look that well-prepared. On the other hand, if it’s me alone, there won’t gonna be such a magic moment that comes spontaneously. New fill things up and make things more perfect. If it were two people with the same personality like me, it’d be too rigid. This is the good side of having a work partner with different personality as us.

Aman Sanger on scaling Cursor to $100M in revenue in 12 months The four co-founders started working on Cursor in January 2023. “It was about 2-4 months of experimenting, trying different things and finding something that fit,” Aman recalls. “Then we shipped it and it had an okay launch.” The initial version of Cursor got some initial buzz because they shipped it with GPT-4 at a time where very few products were using Open AI’s latest model. So we could iterate incredibly quickly, and we tried all these different things that summer. Then we found this core set of features that worked incredibly well.” The two key features were Command K for instructed edit ability and code-based indexing that let you ask questions about your whole code base. “After we integrated those two features and launched them, growth kind of just took off.” Aman continues: “A lot of the work of Cursor has been just experimenting with what is possible. This is Bubba. Bubba is 16 years old. Before coming to Layla’s Heart Ranch and Rescue, Bubba lived through severe abuse for 16 years. We were told he was beaten… even body slammed into the ground. He has always been terrified of people. Truthfully, I am really the only person Bubba trusts. But yesterday, something happened. Bubba got out and ran all the way to my house… then sat outside waiting for me. And for the very first time… Bubba walked on a leash. Sure it took 30 mins to go maybe 100 feet and part of that I had to army crawl to get him to keep moving, but he did it! He has never let anyone do that before. This is the same dog who once flinched at human touch. The same dog who was too scared to trust the world around him. Now he rolls over for belly rubs. Gives kisses. And looks for me when he’s scared. He’s elderly, so we don’t know how much time we have left with him. But my heart is full knowing that after all these years…Bubba finally knows what love feels like. What safety feels like. Maybe some people won’t understand why this video matters so much. But in rescue, these moments are everything. Especially now. I haven’t been fundraising the way I normally do after losing Tuxedo. Truthfully, I’m still trying to function through the grief. But the animals still need us to keep going. We are trying to raise $15,000 for May operating expenses: dog food, vet visits, utilities, kennel and sanctuary payments, and continued care for animals like Bubba who deserve safety, patience, and love for the rest of their lives. Quentin Tarantino recounts seeing his first blaxploitation film with an all-Black audience at nine years old. The movie was Jim Brown’s “Black Gunn,” and the experience changed his life forever… “During this time, my mother was dating a football player named Reggie. So in an effort to score points with her, Reggie asked to hang out with me. Being a football player, he asked her, "Does he like football?" She told him “No, he likes movies.” Well, as luck would have it, so did Reggie. And apparently, he saw every blaxploitation flick that came out. So late one Saturday afternoon, Reggie, who I had never met before, dropped by the apartment, picked me up and took me to the movies. He took me to a part of town I had never been before. I had been to the big movie theater districts in Hollywood and Westwood, but this place was different. This theater row had huge cinemas on both sides of the street, which went down for about eight blocks. I realized when I got older, Reggie took me to the theater district in downtown Los Angeles, located on Broadway Boulevard. All of them were blaxploitation films. Films I had never seen, the new movie on Broadway, having opened just last Wednesday, was Blaxploitation superstar Jim Brown's new motion picture, "Black Gunn." I had seen the TV spots a lot that week, and it looked really exciting. I even remember the radio spot proclaiming, "Jim Brown was gonna get the mother who killed his brother." Well, "Black Gunn" was definitely the movie Reggie wanted to see. One being the connoisseur that he apparently was, it was the only one of the movies playing he hadn't seen. Also, it was pretty fucking obvious he dugged Jim Brown. This thing, the Saturday night showing of the brand new Jim Brown movie, the huge auditorium, I mean, it was probably 1400 seats, wasn't exactly packed, but it was definitely busy and buzzing with anticipation. My little face was the only white one in the audience. This was to be my first movie in a, except for me, all black movie theater in a black neighborhood. This was 1972. Then, on a downtown Saturday night, Jim Brown's new movie, "Black Gun," began flickering through the film projector shutter gate for an extremely excited audience of about 850 black folks, 800 of them male. And frankly, I've never been the same. To one degree or another, I've spent my entire life since both attending movies and making them, trying to recreate the experience of watching a brand new Jim Brown film on a Saturday night in a black cinema in 1972. There was no comparison. When Jim Brown sat behind his desk and Bruce Glover, Crispin’s father, and his other white gangster henchmen threatened him, and Gunn hits a button under the desk and a sawed off shotgun dropped in his lap (see below), the massive theater full of black males cheered in a way the nine-year-old me had never experienced in a movie theater before. At the time, living with a single mother, it was probably the most masculine experience I'd ever been part of. And when the movie ended with a freeze frame of Jim Brown as Gunn, the guy behind Reggie made me proclaimed out loud, "Now that's a movie about a bad motherfucker!" I played Modern Warfare 4 early! Here are my major takeaways and a video showing 4 brand new maps. ✅New campaign sounds like a really fresh approach. South Korea is being invaded by North Korea and it's allies, you play an American solider embedded with South Korean soldiers ✅Guns are fundamentally changing with a new "weapons first technology called Ballistic Authority. Bloom is removed completely. Wherever the barrel/reticle is aiming, that's the trajectory of the bullet, among other big changes to visual feedback, visibility, more realistic weapons handling, etc. ✅12 6v6 maps day one, with a few other maps for larger game modes, plus a new dynamic map for Gunfight modes that changes layout in between rounds ✅Omni-movement is GONE, but mantling, sliding and overall movement is faster and more responsive. You can go into a slide straight from a mantle, you can hang on ledges, shimmy on ledges and peak over with your gun ✅When you max out a gun, you unlock its Apex Attachment. This completely changes how a gun works, or adds a secondary fire. For example, explosive shells for a shotgun, or throwing knives attached to the frame of a rifle, etc. Really cool addition. ✅DMZ IS BACK! But this time, it's a major focus and not a beta. Described as a living sandbox set in a massive conflict zone. Players can negotiate, team up and betray (similar to Arc Raiders) Overall, I think the success of Modern Warfare 4 lives or dies with the new DMZ mode. If this mode is well received, it could bring old players back and introduce non-cod players to the game and has the potential to get Call of Duty in a much better place.

Pakula on how he gave confidence to Jane Fonda- who wanted to quit "Klute" (1971) two days before the filming began: "I remember this disastrous moment in the making of this film, which was at the end of the last day of rehearsal. It was Friday and we had been rehearsing for three weeks. I had rehearsed four weeks on my first film and I thought that’s the way to go. We were gonna start shooting on a Monday in New York. At the end of the day on Friday Jane came up to me and she said, “Alan, I want out. I don’t know what I’m doing. I just think I’m wrong for this. I don’t think it’s going work. Get somebody else.” And I said, “I’m not letting you out. I think you’re going be wonderful in this.” Her panic was real and genuine. She had no faith at that point for whatever the reason. I then met with my production manager and the whole production team and I said we have to change the entire schedule for next week. We were set to do a major scene inside a set that we had rehearsed. I thought it would give everybody confidence. But because Jane had no confidence I felt we had to get her into it very gradually. So I said, we have to start with little bitsy scenes, just until she gets over this stage fright. That means doing walks in New York and going into phone booths and other little scenes. Well, that poor crew and the location people went through hell because that meant shooting in actual locations on New York streets and that meant getting all the necessary permissions. It made for a terrible weekend and a terrible week for a lot of the crew because I was demanding it from them. But it was right. By the end of the latter part of that first week, Jane did a scene where she auditions to be an actress, and I could feel her confidence really coming back again.
