This is excellent point - for those who have been patient with Tesla stock for a long time - one thing to remember is that while the upside is getting delayed, downside from here is very limited (outside of market crashes that impact all stocks).

Can you explain why the stock keeps dropping? It also falls like cliff on most opening bell. Usually ends the day red. $TSLA should have been much higher by now. The stock never caught any real bids since the year started.

I’m a Tesla bull too, and I’d love to see the stock go higher. But the gap between what we want and reality can’t be closed simply by being bullish. TSLA was back in the $200s just two months ago. If all this evidence already proves Tesla is worth more than today’s price, then there’s still one important question: Why hasn’t the market agreed yet?

I tracked eight valuations on the stock market going back a hundred years, compared it to now and the results was terrifying. • Price to book • Price to earnings • The total value of the market against the size of the economy • Just to name a few... All of them are past valuations from the ones in the dotcom bubble, 2008, 1929, etc Does this mean the crash is coming soon? Yes, but definitely not tomorrow or in a month's time. I think it can still run for quite a while. No one can know exactly when it'll happen, but it will happen. Does this mean AI is just all hype and not actually valuable? No. The perceived value has propped up the market, but the technology is definitely real and life-changing. It's exactly the same as the internet. After the internet boom, the Nasdaq fell 78% but the technology was and is very valuable.
